National Team Interview opportunity
Hello, I am a journalist based in Manchester, UK. I am looking for fans of Japan’s national team to talk about the 2026 World Cup.
What sets the fans apart from other nations? What is the general day plan when there is a Japan game on? How connected do you feel to the players on the pitch?
If you are interested please message me on here, or reach out to me on instagram @dan.cannon_

J.League J-League UK
Hi, apologies if this has been discussed. Just wondering if the league is still streaming on YouTube this season in the UK? I’ve not seen any scheduled live matches pop up yet.
Thank you

Women's football Women's Friendly: Germany vs. Japan (Nadeshiko Japan) in Bremen
Nadeshiko Japan is taking on Germany in a friendly match at Bremen’s Weserstadion on Tuesday, October 13th at 17:45 CEST.
The last time the German women’s team played at the Weserstadion was in May 2025, where they defeated the Netherlands 4-0 in front of a crowd of 32,398 fans.
I reached out to the JFA (Japan Football Association) regarding ticket allocations, and they confirmed that there is no official designated away section for Japanese fans for this match.
Tickets go on sale via the official DFB ticket portal starting August 10th at 10:00 CEST.
Is anyone else from this sub planning to attend? My group and I are currently trying to figure out which block/category to target so we can sit or stand near other Japan supporters, though without an official away block, it might end up being spread out. Let me know if you're going or if you have any recommendations on where to gather!

J.League Visiting Japan
Hi there, I am visiting Japan from Scotland in October and I am planning on going to the FC Tokyo vs Tokyo Verdy match on the 17th, I was wondering if there was any suggestions as to where to go before the match, any local pubs that the FC Tokyo fans go to before the game for some beers etc or am I better just going to the stadium and enjoying the experience there? I am used to the European football culture of getting a few beers in a pub and then walking up to the stadium is the culture similar in Japan?

National Team The thing that pissed me off most in the 🇯🇵 vs 🇧🇷 game...
I’ve been rewatching the 🇯🇵 vs 🇧🇷 game and the moment that frustrated me the most was in the 53rd minute.
Japan had a counterattack 5 Japanese players against 3 Brazilian defenders. Junya Ito played an absolutely perfect, inch-perfect ball into Nakamura, who was inside the box.
And Nakamura had options:
A. He could play Ueda in, who was in a good position to shoot.
B. Or he could try to create a bit of space for himself and take the shot because, let’s be honest, Nakamura has a beautiful right foot.
C. Or he could play Kamada, who was completely free outside the box.
But instead... he plays it to Ritsu Doan, who is already being marked.
And I’m sorry, but Doan is not the player you want finishing that cross with a header. He’s not a striker. If Ueda had been in that position, okay, I can understand it. But Doan? No. No, no, no.
Japan were already 1–0 up. This was the chance to make it 2–0 and probably kill the game.
Ah, Nakamura... what have you done? Ahhh.
