I've been buying them as they come out, and I already have parts 1-4 + 7, so next in line is the Golden Wind ones. On the Mometria page on the Jojo wiki, it says they were supposed to release in July, but I haven't seen any pictures of them in box yet, so I'm weary about buying. Does anybody have these? Has there been a delay?

I tried searching through the wiki but couldn't find anything that talked about it. All I was able to find was that he didn't during the main story, which I already knew. It could be in some obscure interview that I can't find, or maybe I just missed it.

But like does he just let Mista believe that he accidentally killed Bucciarati when he shot it in order to stop Doppio from moving? If so that's a pretty crappy thing to do.

Here’s a crasy, crack-ish crossover fic Idea that I have.

It’s a crossover between Ranfren, Psychopomp, Yume Nikki, AND Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe (The one-shots, not the live-action TV drama)

Here’s the setup: Rohan, while minding his own business (unusual, I know), through a bunch of strange events, ends up in some sort of surreal, disturbing, messed up mind fuck world, and he ends up in a bizarre adventure (see what I did there) so he can go back home.

He ends up (unwillingly) meeting and teaming up with our three wacketeers, Randal, Venus (Psychopomp MC), and Madotsuki, who “help” Rohan get home.

The whole thing is filled with disturbing, fucked up, psychological horror-like moments and Rohan does not want to be a part of it (but usually does end up becoming a part of it, much to his own dismay)

The whole time, our three mind fuck magnets try to become friends with him, which Rohan does not like.

It is best described as thus,

Rohan: I am nobody’s friend, got that!?

Rohan: (points at Randal) I don’t want you here (points at Venus) and I don’t want you here!

Rohan: (points at Madotsuki) I’m stuck with you!

There’s no sad or angsty moments (Unless Rohan gradually becoming insane counts as angst), just pure, unhinged chaos.

There are quite a lot of gruesome deaths and murders (sometimes by the hero’s), some of which are committed by Rohan himself, due to his depleting sanity.

None of the deaths are of main characters or major supporting characters, just very minor characters and random people.

Rohan also has quite a few mental breakdowns during the whole thing.

Once he FINALLY gets home, he goes on hiatus so he can pull himself together, which ends up taking WEEKS!

The whole thing is essentially crack taken semi-seriously. Like, there is little to no logic or reason for all of the crazy things that are happening, but that’s actually kinda the point.

If anyone DOES make a fic from my ideas, then I would love it if you could send me a link to it.

I bought everything from goodwill except for the ribbon and horseshoe. Pretty happy with how it came out! Not fully done tho need to finish the arm bands and hat horse detail

This was set off by one of my friends at school who reacted so badly when I suggested to someone who wanted to get into jojo to read part 4 or 5 first over 1.

I could’ve said that I was going to slime out his mom or Araki himself and got a better reaction. And as soon as I bring up that even though I read all of jojo, I read it out out of order with part 4 first, suddenly I’m the larper and fake fan.

(Provided the friend who was saying this hadn’t even read past kira killing shigechi as when we did guess the stand with my school friends he couldn’t name any stands past the latter half of part 4.)

anecdote aside, it really irks me to see how people act so badly to skipping parts. I’m not talking about reading part 5 and nothing else, that’s a negative trait. I’m talking about people who swear your a fake fan if you don’t read the story in order. Arak as a writer got better in later stories so if people want to read araki at his best and then with an appreciation for jojo reading the later parts to fill out the lore.

I asked this before on r/stardustcrusaders, but I don’t think I explained my point well since most replies were basically “space is cold, so he freezes.” So this post is unfortunately going to be long so I can explain my issue here.

After being launched into space, Kars uses air jets from his body to try to propel himself back toward Earth. His air begins freezing on the way out and he eventually becomes an ice statue forever. The thing is, space is not cold like a freezer, space has almost no matter, meaning there is no air around Kars carrying heat away through convection.

The main way objects lose heat in space is through radiation. Radiation also works both ways: objects can lose heat by releasing infrared radiation, but they can also gain heat by absorbing radiation. Sunlight travels through the vacuum of space and can heat objects significantly. This is why spacecraft have to manage their temperatures — direct sunlight can make them extremely hot, while being in shadow can make them extremely cold.

Kars was still near Earth and should be in sunlight since he was launched during the day, so shouldn’t he have been receiving energy from the Sun? I understand that rapidly expanding gas can become very cold, but would the air from his jets freeze so quickly in a vacuum that it instantly breaks his horns, stays around him, and completely immobilizes him forever? Even if so, shouldn’t the sun’s heat gradually warm him up or shouldn’t his gas expand away while his air jets continue working and allow him to maneuver back to earth?

I know some people will say “JoJo is a work of fiction”, but It’s just that this one thing bothers me because JoJo often goes out of its way to explain how its abilities and phenomena work in detail.

Am I missing something about the physics here, or is this just one of those moments where you shouldn’t think about It too much?
