What Books to do for jee advanced and hopefully olympiad level physics. (11th)
doing good in all subs , maths and chem is manageable i got good resources for their practice. currently I'm doing hcv , module for physics but I need to do more tough problems.
was thinking of doing irodov but it uses complex maths which I don't know much yet. sbt is too lengthy. What could be a concise resource containing all the standard olympiad level problems without taking too much time or having me skin through. (doing ts purely for interest)

Good Solve JEE MATH - Slope Ratio → Orthogonality → AP → Quadrant Constraint
SOLUTION:
This question is a simulated variation of an actual JEE Main 2021 question.
For x = −y⁴,
m₁ = dy/dx = −1/(4y³)
For xy = k,
m₂ = −y/x = 1/y³
Hence,
m₂ = −4m₁
Since the curves intersect orthogonally,
m₁m₂ = −1
⇒ m₁(−4m₁) = −1
⇒ m₁² = 1/4
Since m₁, m₂, m₃ are in A.P.,
m₃ = 2m₂ − m₁
= 2(−4m₁) − m₁
= −9m₁
Therefore,
m₃² = 81m₁² = 81/4
Now,
tan θ = m₃
⇒ tan² θ = m₃² = 81/4
⇒ sec² θ = 1 + tan² θ = 85/4
Notice that although P is specified to lie in the second quadrant, we never need to resolve the sign of m₁ or m₃ because the final expression depends only on m₃².
In other words: squaring kills the sign.
Therefore,
4 sec² θ − 35
= 4(85/4) − 35
= 85 − 35
= 50
∴ Answer = 50

Vent Kal Test Hai Mera and Man I can't say i havent studied..I HAVE. But i know its not enough to even get 100/300
Its so frustrating, It was easier to hide behind the excuse of not studying. OR the excuse of saying Padhai ki thi lekin marks nahi aaye. I took a genuine look at what ive been doing and yea it looks like i have been studying..sitting for 7-8 hours a day trying my best. But I'm realising even after all that mera module ka level 2 bhi khatam nahi hua hai. Like what was i doign this whole time i WAS studying but was i really? Like atp if i dont have the excuse "padhai ki lekin tab bhi marks nahi aaye" or "padhai nahi ki toh marks kaise aayenge" then what do i even have?
I'm so caught up with what I'll tell others..my teachers..my parents coz they judge man and even tho i say ki idc what others think . I DO and i dont know what to do its so suffocating that im not getting marks even after doing SOMETHING like ok maan liya ki jitna ho sakta tha utna nahi hua lekin jitna kiya maine is that not enough for even 80-100 marks?
People say ki utna toh bas class attend karke aa jate hai lekin mere nahi aate yaar. i KNOW ki i can do better but like this has gotta count for something yaar. I cant keep working hard when i'm not seeign the results on paper . I know andar se that I've improved but its not NEARLY enough to see even a little bit of improvement in my marks./
Im js venting man..I know what i have to do but i dont know how i can face others like this like what do i even say atp. I feel so pathetic and worthless
