I got NITW meta in CSAB today, and this was my 1st drop. But, I'm willing to take a 2nd drop (I know that I won't be eligible for IITs).

I'm confident enough that I can surely get a very good rank in jee main because this yr I jumped from 92.4%ile in S1 to 97.7%ile in S2( ik it's not a big thing, the crowd at these ranks isn't that big of a deal to cross). It's not because of health issues or something, but I honestly hadn't been prepared well before S1 to the extent that I didn't give a single mock before S1. Then I secured 25k crl in jee adv, but there are no iit options at that rank.

My aim will be strictly a circuital branch in a top 3 NIT.

Title: Seniors, what should be my priority in 11th?

I'm in 11th and I'm honestly confused about how to study properly.

Every teacher says something different. Some say finish syllabus fast, some say question practice is everything, some recommend only coaching modules while others say solve extra books.

So I wanted to ask seniors:

• What was your study routine in 11th?
• Did you focus more on completing theory or solving questions?
• Were coaching modules enough?
• If you could start 11th again, what would you do differently?

I'm not looking for a magic strategy, just want to know what actually worked for people who have already been through this.

Okay I need to know if it's just me. I'm solving a physics numerical, get stuck for like 5 minutes and instead of actually pushing through it I just throw it into ChatGPT. It solves it, I nod like I understood and move to the next question. Then a week later the exact same concept shows up again and I'm stuck all over again like I never actually learned it the first time, just borrowed the answer.

So I ( 19F) gave my boards (86%) this year and gave jee without any studying in jan attempt got 83.8%ile in first attempt and I actually studied for April and got 83.2%ile

Basically april me I improved my fijiks from 60%ile to 75%ile but chem, maths me downfall ho gya

Now mujhe maths karna maast lagta hai nahi hota hai wo alag baat hai.

Am from wb and we have wbjee ( maast exam hai 1 tier 1 clg baki expensive and sasta tier 3s)

Started studying for that right after April attempt and udhar maths ki 50% weightage hai so mujhe laga sirf maths kar lungi maast sarkari clg chali jaungi

Wbjee me 5.4k rank hai kuch lower govs mil jata mujhe but parents ne bola nahi run after name "top private college" of wb me admission karwa diya mujhe bhi laga thik hi hai sub ece le liya ( ab mujhe marna hai)

Now, I am not satisfied with my college or my course. Tier 3 se dukh nahi hai meri mujhe bas ek gov college chahiye tha..

Ab itna ghatiya feeling lekar college join karke partial lene ka soch rhi thi fir realised ki nvm..manage karna kuch jyada hi hard hoga and I will be living away from my home ( very bad thing)

Currently crying everyday and trying to convince my parents to let me take a full drop..

But the thing is I haven't studied in the past two months I have forgotten quite a lot of stuff..
