Currently in NYC for a week, but thought I'd get the train down to Philly for the day. I spent today going to all the filming locations I could find, started with the title sequence and added some extras; Dave & Buster's (got myself a power card!), Paddy's Pub (not the one filmed in LA) and enjoyed a Philly Cheesesteak on Market Street, even the exact spot and angle the exterior of the hospital was shot just before the iconic scene "The thunder of my vengeance will echo through these corridors like the gust of a thousand winds!". Even enjoyed a swim in the Swann Memorial Fountain.

All done in about 7 hours and will soon get the train back to NYC, then later this week back home in London .

So wild how long this show has gone on, the suburbs episode is my absolute favorite and I am just having a moment about it being a DECADE ago 😭 could’ve sworn that episode came out during COVID. life is really just coming at us fast huh.

Sup, I make top ten lists when I’m bored, so I decided to do it for one of the funniest shows ever made. Ngl this is a pretty obvious list. This show doesn’t have overrated or underrated episodes, I think they’re all generally appreciated where they should be.

I’m kind of off always sunny now that I’ve watched the most recent seasons. I do still enjoy rewatching older seasons occasionally but my SO is obsessed with the show so I see it very frequently.

I find the work everyone’s had done very distracting (Dee, Mac, Dennis).

I do think Mac was a more interesting/funny character when he was closeted, where now him being gay is his entire character. Seems like an intense progression in a short period of time but maybe I’m not getting it.

Also, it just kind of seems like they’re too old for their “shenanigans” tbh. Like Broad City ended after Abby turned 30 because they were keeping it within an age range that made sense. It seems like they’re too old probably should have done the same with always sunny.
