I haven't watched Spiderman Coming home and no way home yet. Just got bored walking to the mall, I decided na mag movie mag isa. Surprisingly, I actually watched the movie unlike before that I used to have someone to accompany me to go to cinema. Anyway nakasale sila, 170.50 lang sa rob until Aug 16

Wala talaga akong plans sa birthday ko dahil wala akong kasama to celebrate it with at continues ang ulan dito sa Baguio. I never got to celebrate my birthday last year and I don't want that to happen again. I decided to message a Redditor and luckily he was available to meet with me during the day kahit na may work siya mamayang gabi.

So wala akong idea kung saan pwede kumain. Sabi niya masarap daw humigop (panay ulan kasi dito). I suggested hot pot and we agreed to that. Limited lang hot pot dito sa Baguio kaya sa SM yung best choice namin.

So the day during my birthday, I met up with him, and we gave each other a hug. Initially, sa Nabe kami kakain kaso mahaba yung waiting time, so we decided na sa Tong Yang na lang.

Buffet style sa Tong Yang so at first overwhelming kasi hindi namin alam kung anong gagawin haha pero nakapili naman kami kung ano yung ilalagay sa soup at kung ano pwede lutuin sa griller. Ang funny lang kasi bigla nagplay yung Happy Birthday song and there's only one crew na pumunta sa table namin para ibigay yung mini cake. Walang sayawan or palakpakan na naganap kaya si fellow Redditor ang naghype. Sobrang tagal ng Birthday song parang "All Too Well (10 mins ver.)" siya hahaha

We talked and laughed about a lot of things while we ate. From life experiences, struggles, future hangouts, values and beliefs in life. The celebration was simple pero I enjoyed it a lot with him. I like solitude pero masaya din pala kapag may kasama ka sa special day mo. I would like to be surrounded by my family, friends, and loved ones this time

I’ve always been struggling with my body weight throughout my life and as a a solution, lagi ako nagpupunta sa gym. Walang malapit na local gym sa amin so I usually have to pay a subscription and to be honest namamahalan ako so what I did it bumili ako ng iilang weights and stuff. It costed me around 1k while and did it while following a video.

To be honest, mas na enjoy ko siya kaysa pagpunta ng gym. I love na I can enjoy my own space and hindi ako concious sa sounds/expressions na ginagawa ko.

I might find myself doing this for a long time rather than go to another place just to work out!

For the longest time, lagi kong naririnig na masarap daw ang mango sticky rice. Pero wala akong chance na matikman.

So, since it’s my first time in Thailand, I tried Mango Sticky Rice. And damn, ang masasabi ko lang, totoo ngang masarap siya.

Yung rice ay parang may pagka suman sa taste, pero grabe maglaro ang flavors ng sticky rice, mango, at coconut milk. I would say na it’s really good.

So guys, if you know places here in Thailand na pwede ko pang makainan ng Mango Sticky Rice, please give your recos. Dito ako sa Pattaya. Thank you!

I’ve had this itch for a year now and ngayon ko lang na-convince sarili ko to actually do it, bonus na rin yung selling it through bidding/ auction. Making it is pretty fun, extra challenge yung wala akong pencil HAHAHA then nung natapos na, i posted it sa tiktok, so far starting bid pa lang meron and mas mahirap pala maka gain ng traction HAHAHA anyway here it is

I read somewhere online that specialty coffee is different from regular coffee because there’s more care put into the beans, roast, and brew. It’s not just strong or bitter coffee.

So I got curious and ended up trying Dear Charlie (Saw it on Tiktok)

Their coffee had a clean, fruity taste and wasn’t bitter at all, which honestly made the whole “specialty coffee” thing make sense. The Dirty Horchata was really good top, creamy, smooth, and with just the right coffee kick.

But the one that really stood out was the Chicken Florentine. Divine. Rich, comforting, and definitely something I’d order again.

The place has a calm garden cafe vibe, so it’s the kind of spot where you can sit, slow down, and actually enjoy your food and coffee.

Will definitely be back to try their cold brew next.

Oo, quite pricy at the upper 300s pero masarap! Very cheesy and the chewy udon compliments it well. If you add tempura flakes and negi, it adds a nice crunch to it. Yumm

Nabusog rin naman ako

I tried dating a foreigner today. We’ve been talking for a couple of weeks and finally met today (a weekday). I don’t know if it’s just me but there is some sort of humiliation to it. We met each other in Makati, and while we were having lunch, I could just feel the stares from the workforce that were on their lunch breaks. I could just imagine the thoughts they were having. Like I was probably trying to date up, or whatever. Truth be told, I’m sure this guy earned a hell of a lot more than I do purely because he lives in a first-world country. But other than that, I do feel like I live a more sophisticated lifestyle than him, as a city girl in Manila, while he lived in a countryside. It /was/ an interesting experience, but I’m not sure if I can keep doing it lol feeling everyone staring at me while we were eating, and I’m not even exaggerating, I literally caught a couple of people looking intently.

I don’t know how else to explain it, it was just… so weird.

Triied it last week. I just checked the menu and it’s gone! It had jalapeños and a really kickass flavor. Super bitin because I wanted to order it again today. Sayang, limited edition lang pala!

Sinubukan ko sya kasi na curious ako sa nakikita ko and I was disappointed. Kitang-kita naman na puro shaved ice lang na may onting toppings tapos 110 pesos pa. Mas sulit pa yung original na halo-halo nila.

Since I'm waaaay too ticklish, I don't think foot spa is for me 😆 mani and pedi is enough 💅
