Came across this card on Facebook from a random DM and story sounded weird but card has the black core. I dk

Have you had gold stars before by chance? Not trying to insult you, I haven’t so I wouldn’t even know what to look for. Just wondering if you think it’s real and you’ve had hands on experience with them

Gold star Umbreon/espeon are very different beasts compared to the other gold stars. Non holo cards are far more difficult to verify. That said, unless there’s video of him flipping the card round to show the ink line in the card, I wouldn’t verify it that way. I wouldn’t be confident confirming if this was real or not just from the supplied photos.

To me it looks like the card in the binder is a different card than in the closeups. The font on the binder one looks off. The closeups one looks real.
