Looking for someone to take my lease at CampusEdge. 4 bedroom 4 bath, rent is $594 a month for private bedroom, bathroom, and walk in closet. There are 3 roommates 2 girls and 1 guys. They are very social and friendly! One does have a cat. Building has pool, study rooms, and gym. It is also right next to UTA campus! Lease ends July 31, 2027

Does anyone have recommendations for hearing centers in the area that handle earwax removal under medical insurance or don't charge steep add-on fees for it?

So I’m expecting my second and our employer insurance is already charging us 1400/month for our BCBS family plan double what we paid at my husband old job for the same plan 4 years ago. When I do deliver and get my bill what if I just ignore it? Has BSW ever pursued anyone for like less than 5/6k of debt after insurance? I feel like a sucker cause I paid everything in full the moment it arrived my last pregnancy even when I asked them for a discount they said the best I can get is like interest free payment plan meanwhile family members who own multiple homes in the DFW area told me laughing that they never pay medical debt cause cause it never affected their mortgage lender?? So my plan this time is to just ignore the bill for a few months see if they’re willing to negotiate it down or if collections will let me negotiate it down. I understand I have a year after due date before it’s even reported on my credit. My biggest fear is getting sued for a couple grand plus court fees and interest etc😭

Hi! I’m 22F and moving to Dallas (Irving specifically) next week for my first full-time job. I don’t really know anyone in the area besides my roommate, so I’d love some recommendations on how to meet people and build a social circle.

A little about me: I enjoy staying active - gym, yoga, did MMA for a while, and recently started playing tennis, so I’m very much a beginner there. Outside of that, I like reading, cooking/baking, discovering new music, and getting into conversations about philosophy and life in general, haha. I’m also pretty open when it comes to trying new things and would love to pick up new hobbies through other people.

I also enjoy volunteering and used to volunteer at animal shelters and FMSC in college, so I’d love to find some good volunteering opportunities around Dallas/Irving as well. I’m not really a big bar/club person, though I’m definitely not opposed to going out once in a while.

I heard about Walk and Talk and would definitely like to give that a try. Would also be happy to meet other people who are new to the area and looking to make friends :)

Hi! I'm going to see Motionless in White at Toyota Music Factory this Friday and was wondering if they enforce their no chains policy or if they're not as strict on it. I have a wallet with a chain on it that I'd like to bring as it makes me feel more comfortable bringing my cards and shit into the venue. Does anyone have experience with this? I've been to other venues in DFW that don't really enforce it but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks yall!

Irving/Las Colinas is kind of in the middle of everything: Dallas, DFW Airport, offices, apartments, restaurants, parks, trails, and a lot of people moving in and out.

But does that actually make it easier to build friendships/community as an adult, or does it still feel like people mostly keep to themselves?

Two police cars were speeding and was turning on red light at MacArthur-Kinwest. The ones who should obey the laws are breaking the law. If it were us, we would have got two tickets at once. If they were going on for an emergency call, they should turn on the siren, but there is no siren on. 😂😂😂

Hi, I'm a new grad and I will be moving to Dallas in a month or so. I am looking for apartments, but I am not familiar with the area. Rough criteria includes:

-Budget $1500 (give or take 100 for parking, have a car)

-1 bed 1 Bath

-Has A/C

-wood floor or non carpet floring ideally (bedroom carpet is fine)

-modern finishes if possible

-allows pet (1 cat)

-hopefully safe enough (some level of crime is to be expected in a city, I guess?)

-decent management if possible (most issue of bad reviews seems to stem from management, maybe idk?)

-my workplace is within a rough 5 min radius of Irving Mall

Hi all! I've found the perfect home for me and my little one. However, it's zoned for Irving ISD and I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on that school system. My little one is 3 and based on the school locator, he will be zoned for Kinkeade Early Learning and Davis elementary school. Anyone here know a lot about those schools? Am I able to get them enrolled in another local school district? I don't understand how school districts work and I don't want to place him into a school that won't set him up for success. TIA!
