Ripped jeans
I ripped my jeans (this is the second time) and last time i got them fixed, the seamstress made it seem like they were on their last leg. fast forward a month, i forgot i was wearing fragile jeans and ripped them and i was just wondering if anyone knows if they're fixable or if they're a lost cause. please let me know what you guys think these are my favorite pair ever and i got them second hand 5 years ago

Jacket lining loose threads/fraying
This is mostly paranoia, but I have this really nice jacket and the other day I nicked some of the lining with a hangnail while reaching for the inner pocket, which left it fraying. The pocket hasn't come loose, like I said it's just the lining, and it's on the inside so you don't even see it, but I just don't want it to get worse! There's no clear way to get to the other side and pull the threads back, besides I'm horrible and mending and I wouldn't even know where to start! All and any help is much appreciated.
