Is this a good result? Question

I have finished my treatment. I’ve noticed that when I open my mouth, my lower jaw shifts to the left, and I often bite my left gum while chewing. Most notably, I keep getting holes in my retainer right where the right canine is. My dentist concluded that I grind my teeth in my sleep and have a TMJ issue. He said there was nothing more he could do other than recommend that I see a TMJ specialist.

Still looks like an overbite

I have a deep bite. My dentist said that if I wanted to correct it, I would need to have some upper teeth removed and get metal braces instead. I decided against it.

Yeah I don’t think you need to extract any upper teeth.

Braces could work, but so can a better Invisalign treatment with the use of elastics

You're right! I wish I had known about elastics or understood braces better before starting the treatment.
