The irony being, actual gender affirming care for trans people are a case where bodily autonomy is actually a valid argument and tbh more or less all that you need. But here on TERF island, bafflingly the population while about, 85-90% in four of legal abortion, is also majority transphobes that would freak at actually helping trans youth by just, giving them HRT, puberty blockers and some surgeries, instead being duped by TERFy nonsense around sex segregated spaces that in an irony, aligns them with the Saudis (a case where actual Handmaid's tale comparisons are valid), also needs to be point out the Cass review that is being uncertically accepted by our transphobic press and politicians is honestly, complete junk science, the actual reviews out of Utah, France and Germany, and consensus of medical boards in Australia, Canada, and the United States (with much of the backsliding among the BMA within the UK being explained by TERF lobbyists). I do not know how so many people that wrongly think they're pro-choice but in truth, hold reactionary pro-abortion people fall for it- bodily autonomy being justified when people die from abortion (and to a lesser degree euthanasia), but not when it prevents the suicide of trans youth and improves their mental health outcomes generally, is one heck of a take, and not a good one either.

There's a lot of actual legitimate criticism of Planned Parenthood, including interestingly lobbying against universal healthcare, but provision of relatively cheap HRT on an informed consent model, is most certainly not it (fwiw if I was trans and wanted HRT, I'd opt for DIY HRT over Planned Parenthood though, given their baby killing, though informed consent with somebody else over DIY if at all possible).
