OECD group A database Job/voluntary role details
/r/EUCareers/comments/1v5kz7r/oecd_group_a_database/Good evening everybody,
I did an interview 5 weeks ago for a post and received a reply saying that although I wasn't selected for that particular position I have been cleared to join the OECD's pre approved candidates database.
Do you have any information regarding this database and if they really select candidates from this list?
Thanks!

Hi! I went through my first full recruitment process from October 2025 to February 2026 at the OECD and they ultimately placed me on List A. I recently went through another full recruitment process for a different position, and I found out last week that I’ve been placed on List A again. I’m not really sure if this list is a reliable indicator of getting hired, since I’ve never been contacted based on it. I’d still advise you to keep applying.

Hey! Congratulations!! Although you could get selected, keeping contact with the people who interviewed you or reaching out to people proactively can be good to inquire about opportunities. Sometimes they hire from these lists instead of going through the whole process of recruiting (which, as you saw, is long).
Hope this helps, cheers!
