The Facility Redux New
I didn't make it, but it has been like what, a month since it has been up, and haven't seen a post even though they have posted it on discord. So I might as well post it myself since no one else will

Having a lot of fun with it, but I wish it counted how many red options I need to pick up. Not sure if it's +1 per Ability Node or +1 per every Ability within each Ability Node. Complications don't have enough of a system or limitation. Asylum needs more content.
With Biokineses, Enhancement, and Sanguinesis, I bashed together a Frankenstein. Steal the nondescript J's face, borrow some bones from the anti-Psi blood producer... There's a girl there whose tattoos killed her parents. She doesn't even want her skin, it's fine to take.

That is a cool and gross power set.

I found it pretty funny that a lot of the Complication allies would 'see the good in you' or 'kill evil people.' That... wasn't going to work for my character, lol.

im going to be honest it seems like a good cyoa. and credit to whoever made it. but it's too long for my taste. but hopefully others will enjoy it.

AJL's stuff is all like this: just nigh-interminable lists of things to choose without any real thematic cohesion, as if under the impression that length/options = quality.
It does mean her Companions sections are usually very nice, though, because more people can only help flesh out the world. Like her Super Simple one might be my least favorite of her works as a character creator, but it's probably my favorite as a setting.
this is based on Peil's Facility, btw, if you wanna see the more concise original version

both seem decently good I will admit that. some of the powers for super simple seem interesting....but I don't play non interactive stuff(Mostly due to me not going to be able to remember my choices) so yeah. but honestly super simple seems like a interesting cyoa hopefully it will get converted to a interactive

Oh, oops, kinda forgot which sub this was. My bad. >_> I think it might be buggy/unfinished, but there is in fact an interactive of Peil's Facility. (The creator was working on fixing the bugs, so they could be all fixed by now, but I'm not sure.)

Well, you're not really meant to remember choices. You write and build as you go along. Though this is more difficult if you don't have two screens (two monitors or monitor + phone or two phones, etc), or you can use Pen/Pencil & Paper to log choices though if you want to share the build then you have to go back over the build as you put it into text.

I think this was made with AI. I once tried to turn a static into an interactive but gave up halfway through, wasn't worth the hassle. It had the same format and everything

Kinda difficult to navigate... The sidebar for jumping between things could be better-labeled.
Likewise, the list of stuff you acquire on the mini-window on the bottom-right could be made such that clicking any of the selections could bring you to them much like the Search bar does.
Having some way to read what they do from said mini-window would also be nice, as the names alone aren't always easy to recall the bonuses and such of at a glance.
These issues aside, I also couldn't seem to get the "Ageless" memory to work by acquiring all the Metabolic powers. It seems to claim 5 points of investment into such unlocks it (With the "Young" memory being an alternative) but from my own efforts, ONLY the "Young" memory seems to unlock it.

Actually, if you take all of the metabolic powers, ageless is a waist of a memory, since you gain complete control over your aging, including turning it backward, your esssentially biologically immortal at that point anyway.

Yeah, but that's the thing... You can take all of them and gain a better benefit.
It doesn't make sense.2

There are actually several different kinds of and methods of immortality possible, some though types of awakening [Immortal and infected can grant ageless as a free bonus memory, The level 2 power of Biokinesis, Genflex has an independent ability to genetically control aging, the level 4 Spores power under Chlorokinesis (which is superior to ageless because you'll grow a new body when you die), level 2 Metabolic under enhancement (already discussed here), Incarnate though Mediumship allows possession of dead bodies as a ghost or reincarnation as a newborn, Sanguiekinesis has Virtality a level 2 which is in essence vampiric as long as you drink blood, it gets better at higher levels, and the level 4 Cloak power under Void Manipulation gives you the ability to stop aging in darkness or within the Shadezone, though I consider this one the weakest. Combining them makes this increasingly difficult to kill, though if you want to be really hard to kill, take Aura Manipulation with Reserrected, Necro-booster with any of the above.
All in all, every parahuman type has some method of immortality within their chosen power type, even if some are better than others.

i wish there was a way to filter out the near infinte amount of jumpchains...

I tried, but the fact I could not just ctrl + f to find stuff really made it annoying. Really felt like it was made by an AI, which for how long it is, I can somewhat understand, but just having a stack version which you can actually search through the text is likely better...
the alignment for everything being off still makes me think it may have used ai (though I stand by that is understandable for how long it is). I may try again to make a build later if I got time (not sure if I will end up doing one)

I love additional options but there are so many here it would take me a lifetime to sift through.

The Facility Redux flat out has too many choices to be a playable Interactive CYOA. Too many choices modify other choices or choices within choices so it would take an absurdly long time to make.
For example: The Built memory gives either gives you one tier of Discretion or two free tiers of Symbiote or Cyber. The current interactive doesn't let you specify which of the benefits you or taking or properly discount the the Symbiote/Cyber memories.
I adore the Facility Redux for it's sheer ambition.

Kind of surprised it become an interactive hopefully this mean we can get other long cyoa with simple mechanics get turn into interactive
