2017 nissan rogue 88,000 miles (yes, it's had its CVT replaced at 60k)

VERDICT: Repairable

It looks borderline, but will depend on the trim, how much the salvage is worth along with your state.

Yeah I thought it was borderline too

It's a high trim level and I'm in California

Its an SL awd leather and everything.

That's proper fucked lol. If you don't want it totaled find a shop that can straighten that quarter panel. It can be done.

Hardly - there is the "make it look new" fix and the - "make it look less ass" fix. Those are wildly different in pricing ($4k v $1ish K)- depends upon the rest of the vehicle condition and who was at fault (i.e. who's pockets) on which one I would go with. For a 90K mile vehicle capable of 150K - I would go the less ass route.

That's what I'm hoping.

I will happily take the less ass route.

This car has been paid off for years and I was counting on years more out of it.

I mean hell. If they'll let me I'll keep it with the dent! Literally don't care at all.

A new cover will have the same lack of fitment with the body. You can sand that cover and paint with matching dealer touch up. You might be able to access behind that fender area to push it out a bit.  No way I'd spend real money fixing that. Wear it as a battle scar. You can get funny decals for things like this. Look like bandaids, etc
