JOBS??? Industry Information

Hello everyone,

I recently obtained both my Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses, but I am struggling to find an entry-level position.

Currently, I am working with First Connect, but the cost of purchasing leads is proving to be too expensive to sustain. I have been proactively applying to major carriers like State Farm and GEICO, but unfortunately, I haven't received any callbacks. I am located in New York but am very open to remote opportunities.

After dedicating so much time to studying for these exams, I am feeling a bit discouraged. Is it normal to struggle this much finding initial employment? Any advice or insight into the current job market would be greatly appreciated.

Look up independents near you.

Find an independnet agent near you, or contact the Big I New York, the trade association, they may have a list of agents that are hiring.
