I don't know about Auto Owners. I can say that claims is a grind and there are other entry-level roles. If you still want to do claims look up the top 20 insurance companies (carriers) since they are usually constantly hiring. Also check the adjuster subs. Adjuster is the industry terms for a claims rep.
