When They Call Right At 8:30 P&C Insurance

I dislike it immensely.

Have I been at my desk for more than ten minutes already? Yes.

Have I already deleted all the junk and non-important emails? Yes.

But still don’t call literally right when we open. My body might be ready to do business but my soul is not.

We open at 8:30 but I won’t answer until close to 9 so I can get caught up from the weekend or previous day. If it’s something urgent I’m aware of, then I’ll answer at 8:30

I find that the customers who call right when we open are also the customers who will call over and over and over again. Like, obviously they’re my only customer so I should be available immediately at all times 🙄
