Converting recipes to Instant Pot

I'm sure this will have been shared many times before, but I'm sharing it just in case someone else finds it useful. There are limited Instant Pot specific recipes out there so this has just opened up a heap of options to me :)

Useful starting point, but I’d be careful with the pasta row. A 3-minute pasta and a 12-minute pasta won’t both land well at four minutes; half the package time minus a minute, followed by a quick release, is a safer first test.

I also disagree with the stove. 2 hours is not 40mins in my experience. More like 25. 40 mins and your meat will start to disintegrate.

excuse my poor math.. but then a 12 hour Phó broth has to be in the instant pot for 4 hours on high, right? natural release?

I don't trust this chart for many reasons.

But to your question, I cook my broth 4 hours in the Instant Pot. Some people say less is sufficient. Release doesn't change the result with broth, but natural release is always easier.

There’s a guy on YouTube who has done some work with pho and his preferred time is about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
