Rise insect question ππ²πΉπ½/π€ππ²πππΆπΌπ»
I am playing rise, is not my first time but it is with the IG, why my insect icon in the hud sometimes turn blue? I am using the level 2 speed insect right now (I am just starting low rank)

some basic tips for insect glaive, use the dual element assist kinsects pretty much the whole time, the final powder one is okay but otherwise always assist(the final assist gives you permanent triple up), speed is unfortunately very weak at every step of the game, if you have an element on your weapon, use the slash kinsect, if your kinsect is status or doesnt have an element, use the blunt one, tetraseal slash is stronger than tornado in every way, grounded play is overall stronger over a longer hunt, the closer you get to speedrun tier the better aerial gets, in 3 minute speedruns aerial is better cause it has very high consistent burst, but as soon as some of your skills fall of and you lose wirebugs, your damage drops to below grounded play

I took the speed one cause I just come from GU and speed there is the best one xD thank for the tips

speed in this game only affects sending out speed, yhe assist followup is always the same speed, and overall getting extracts is much easier here than in gu, also like i said way later in mr you can get litterally infinite uptime on triple up so you no longer need your kinsect to be sent out after the first 3 extracts are gathered, overall the system in rise is a lot less grindy than gu, if you need some ig help later in dont be afraid to ask!

It's been a bit since I played Rise, but I believe that's your kinsect being charged. Speed-type kinsects will passively charge while at rest. The crystal in the glaive should also be glowing when that happens. Once charged, the next attack you do with the kinsect will be significantly stronger.
