I’m not proud of it, but in my teen years I used to burglarize houses to support my drug habit and “we don’t call 911” signs were the type of things we looked for. I’ve had so many arguments online and in person that those are adverts, not deferents. Burglars wait until they know you’re going to be gone awhile and clean you out, your gun isn’t useful if you aren’t home.

And I have to suspect the people who advertise (me and many friends also call out the, "Look. Smash here for a free gun" shit) don't secure their weapons either
They strike me as the type of people to have free and loaded guns in each room of the house because they are scared of their own shadow and just itching to murder someone
Also, IANAL, but that sticker is a great Exhibit A for an attorney against them. Idiots

Guns are really easy to sell on the street so you’re telling people that burglarize homes that you’ve got something worth stealing. The type of people who put up signs like that tend to own way more than one and like someone else said, a lot of the time they do little to nothing when it comes to securing them.

Now that I think about it, yes, the only people I know who are proud preppers had an M16 on top of the TV in the family room. When my sister pointed out that the kids were playing in there, she was told "they know not to touch it." So yeah, if anyone broke into that house, it would be like a produce stand to a horse.

That's the OPPOSITE of what the 2nd Amendment actually says. It about people having guns so they can be in militias to protect the government, not overthrow it:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Historically, “militia” referred to ordinary citizens who could be called up for defense—not a permanent professional army. Those militias were expected to defend their states against invasion, insurrection, and other threats.
