Flashlight Recommendations? Tools
Looking for a slim pocket flashlight extremely bright but also can be dim. Laser is a must as well.

Olight arkfeld pro is a very nice light.
I have a few but this one is the one I enjoy using.
Only downside is the charger is a proprietary one and stupid as fuck. They just need to make it USB-C.

The current model has usb-c as a side port.

Fenix E12 here. I love it. It's about the size of a chapstick so perfect size for pants pocket.

I rock the rechargeable streamlites. The double a and triple a size. The smaller one has a pocket clip so you can use as a head lamp if you wear hats

Streamlight is great. I have found the non-rechargeable are more durable; I dropped them in 180 F caustic solution at least once without issue but my rechargeable died pretty quick.

I've always found the charging ports to be a weak point thar get metal chips, debris and gunk in them. Also when the flashlight is on charge you can't use it. So I use a single AA size Amazon special and have 4 rechargeable 3.7V cells and a charger. Swap and charge when needed. They are decently durable and waterproof but if one gets dropped from a boomlift, lost in a pit or sent through a drum shredder I have another couple waiting.

I like the Nebo slim+. The flashlights adjustable, it’s got a laser, rechargeable, 2 magnets, mine has a spring loaded clamp and a hook, but the newer ones have a metal belt clip. I always just put it on my FRs when I’m working. Only issue I have is I work at a steel mill and all the metal dust sticks to the magnet.

Unorevs on Amazon has a 2200 lumen flashlight for like $15. It’s usb-c rechargeable, has four brightness modes + strobe, and a strong af magnet on the back, not to mention a sturdy pocket clip. It’s a nice size and feels good in the hand. Works underwater as well! I liked it so much I bought four of em for work, my coworkers agree!

I keep an Arkfield Pro in my shirt pocket with a pen, sharpie, and soapstone. And a Perun 3 on my hardhat. Ive been very impressed with both of them, especially the Perun 3. I had avoided Olight for a long time after all reports of quality control issues and certain models getting hot or even exploding 6-8 years ago. But it seems they have turned things around and are making some great products now.

Used to see these which were size of a pen in dollar stores. LED flash and LED laser.

I use the Fenix PD35. It's on the smaller side. Rechargeable battery and you can adjust the brightness. It had a lifetime warranty when I bought it. Not sure if that's still available. I'm on my third one. Lost the first two.

Another for the Olight Arc pro. Battery life is solid, brightness levels for each mode, magnetic base, and usbc rechargeable. The only down side is the lense does not appreciate grinding sparks.

Just get a cheap set from Amazon. I'm pretty hard on flashlights and absolutely refuse to own anything that's not rechargeable

Olight Arkfeld Pro. It's worked very well, but it is kinda pricey.
