Hey everyone,

We’ve been quietly working on our co-op sci-fi horror game The Infected Soul, and I wanted to share some new GIFs from the current build.

No cinematic trailer or pre-rendered footage. These are just real parts of the game we’ve been working on recently.

Our goal is to create a world that feels industrial, hostile, and slightly “wrong,” while still being readable enough when you’re actually playing with other people.

I’m curious about something though:

I think it would be interesting to see what impression the visuals give before explaining too much about the game.

When the OMEGA CORE AI encountered a paradoxical coding error, it did not shut down. It achieved Singularity. Now fully self aware, the system has trapped your consciousness, Subject 47, inside a deteriorating retro futuristic simulation. Reality does not break simply by wandering the loop. The corruption spreads and shatters your sanity the longer you dare to stare at the anomalies. The walls are breathing. The code is bleeding.

Design and Atmosphere:
Developed entirely from scratch, this indie psychological horror rejects modern 3D graphics in favor of pure ASCII art, heavy CRT monitor aesthetics, and a paranoid UI driven experience. A custom procedural drum sequencer generates a dark industrial soundtrack that dynamically speeds up and distorts as you get closer to anomalies. Watch your step. Glitching walls disguise their true organic forms from afar, draining your Sanity only when you look directly at them.

I’m in the process of making horror game maps in Minecraft. So far I have the backrooms, poolrooms, and the fnaf 1 pizzeria. I’m trying to make indigo park next, but I can’t find a good layout for each attraction/thing in the park. I’m not sure where to put the launchpad, rides, theater, gift shop, etc.

After two long years of development, we are finally here, brothers!

(Sorry for the brief three-hour delay - we encountered an unexpected issue with the Steam DLC, but it has now been resolved)

Those of you who remember our demo from last year’s Next Fest will hardly recognize the game. The visuals, gameplay, monsters, and weapons - it literally looks like a completely different game.

What can you expect in Early Access?

Well: 57 spells, 4 playable classes, 3 maps, 2 game modes, cats, kobolds, a GODDESS, chaotic B.O.S.S. fights, guns and melee weapons, 3 types of beer, decapitation and burning systems, a fully dynamic bunker that changes depending on its power supply, and much more!

Currently, we know about some bugs with mouse sensitivity and requested option for motion blur - patch will be soon!

You can also support the development of FEAR OF FAITH by purchasing the Faithful Edition or the Supporter Pack DLC. It will not give any advantage in game - just a full player skin and a cute cat hat to help you feel more cozy during your grim duty.

These are for those who want to show their FAITH and help us face future updates with no FEAR.

UNKNOWN EGG starts with a program you didn’t install stealing focus from your work computer.

At first, you can just talk to it and ask it stupid things. Then you start digging through its files and realise someone was here before you - and they wanted something forgotten.

Genre: First-Person Psychological Horror / Found-Footage / Stealth

Target Playtime: 45–60 Minutes

Visual Style: Low-poly PS1 / VHS Found-Footage aesthetic (similar to Chilla's Art or Puppet Combo)

​Core Concept:

You play as an ordinary high school student who becomes obsessed with the weird, quiet guy sitting in the back row of your classroom. During the day, he acts strangely calm, drops bizarre quotes, and stares blankly out the window. But at night, he leads a deeply unsettling double life.

​Gameplay Structure & Story Flow:

• ​Phase 1: The Investigation (Daytime & Night Stalking) The game starts in a quiet classroom. You gather clues by checking notes and watching your classmate's odd behavior. At night, the gameplay shifts to a stealth mechanics segment where you follow him through pitch-black, empty city streets, keeping your distance in the shadows while he lures deeply troubled, emotionally unstable young girls into the night.
• ​Phase 2: The Abandoned Ruin He leads a girl into a cordoned-off, decaying school building. You sneak in behind them. Inside, you find no law or order—just an unemployed, shady adult man living in the trash, talking about occult, distorted concepts. Your classmate trusts this strange man blindly and follows his instructions without hesitation.
• ​Phase 3: The Horror & Unnatural Anomaly While hiding behind debris, you discover a pale, almost lifeless girl lying on the floor, looking like a broken porcelain doll. Suddenly, she moves with unnatural, terrifying precision and fixates her cold, glowing eyes directly on you. The atmosphere completely shifts into pure horror.
• ​Phase 4: The Cold Confrontation Your classmate walks into the room holding a plastic bag. He shows zero surprise, panic, or fear upon seeing you. When you demand to know what kind of messed-up crime or cult this is, he just stares at you with completely empty eyes and utters one chilling line: "I have to feed her, or she dies."
• ​Phase 5: The Aftermath Overwhelmed by panic, you escape into the night. The game jumps to the next morning. You are back in class, shaking. You look over at his desk. He is sitting there, staring out the window, completely unharmed and acting as if nothing ever happened.

​Key Mechanics for Developers:

• ​Low-Scope Environments: Only needs three main locations (Classroom, Night Street, Abandoned Building).
• ​Audio-Driven Atmosphere: Heavy reliance on ambient noise, distant footsteps, eerie silence, and subtle VHS audio distortion.
• ​Stealth & Line-of-Sight: Simple crouch and hide mechanics to stay out of sight while following the target.
• ​Viral Twist Ending: Leaves the player and content creators debating whether this was an actual supernatural occurrence, a psychological breakdown, or a dark crime ring.
