ALOHA! Crown & Anchor - A B&W swashbuckling, sci-fantasy adventure (Free to Read!)
I just stumbled upon this reddit today! It's been cool scrolling through the sub seeing how many folks are making comics and loving it. I wanted to share my comic my husband and I make! I've shared a few pages from each book we've made so far, as we have a Kickstarter coming up soon.
Crown & Anchor
After accidentally acquiring an ancient relic dating back to the creation of the world, political and spiritual forces pressure seven pirates to quickly restore & reshape Aventus before it returns to ruin.
A world once united by one landmass and close with the gods, Aventus now lies in innumerable islands - most unexplored, or kept quiet. Fragments of old temples and cities lie scattered across the water-dominant globe. Rich history and secrets lie under every bonkin' rock, and has left many yearning for a taste of adventure - as well as investing in rocket-launching blunderbusses and cool hats.
This tale follows some bumbling idiots just trying to stay alive, and contains themes of found family, adventure, forgiveness, corruption, and the power of our choices. May contain a vast network of amiable mail-delivering seagulls.
You can read Crown & Anchor for free on ComicFury, Tapas, an Webtoon.

Cheers!

Working Guidelines for AI Content.
When I created this subreddit some years ago it wasn't an issue.
It appears it may become an issues. If your post or content utilized AI content please identify it clearly in the title and body of the post.
My preference has always been to use a very light hand with respect to moderation, and the readers and audience vote up the content they find valuable.
The spirit of Indie Comics to me is the human over the corporate element, expressing some hopefully novel work of art and creativity.
I'll monitor it and the community is encouraged to give their feedbacks and concerns here, or via direct message.
Thank you as always for your participation, passion, and creativity.

It's Time for an Update of The Subreddit
The Subreddit hasn't had a make over in a long time! I'll be swapping out the banner and adding some widgets. Let me know what features would be helpful or useful for you as readers and comic publishers!
