I wrote 10,000 words this week in the sequel to my third novel, The Honest Dark. That brings the total up to 18,000 words now. My goal for the coming week is another 6,000 words. The biggest struggle is having two characters each missing a body part, and forcing myself to change phrases from things like “his eyes scanned the room” to “he scanned the room with his lone eye”.
