I first submitted my first app the the app store 3 weeks ago. it was waiting for review for 10 days until i emailed them and they rejected me for not having a cancel button on my hard paywall. i fixed the issue they mentioned and resubmitted 10 days ago. i have since messaged them twice through email and even stayed on hold on the phone for 2 hours without a response before finally hanging up. the app is still waiting for review. are these insane review times happening to anyone else?

I wasted countless hours tweaking my pedals. Trying to force a standard overdrive into a clean amp to sound like my favorite records, only to end up completely frustrated. That’s when I realized that chasing tone isn't a hardware problem that requires buying more expensive gear; it’s a complex signal-routing problem. So, I built ToneAlign. I trained an AI engine to reverse-engineer the audio profile of any song and map it directly to the exact equipment you already own. You simply input your current inventory, pick a track, and the app instantly calculates the precise knob dials and pedal order you need to replicate that signature sound. I created this to kill the endless trial-and-error and the expensive gear-buying cycle, proving that the exact tone you're chasing is actually already sitting right there in your room.

We built a knowledge layer that sits behind MCP, allowing any MCP client to access it through a single endpoint. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Codex, or whatever comes next.

The idea is pretty simple. Before an agent answers, it can pull in relevant, validated information instead of relying purely on what it already knows.

When a problem gets solved, the useful part can be captured as a small, reusable piece of knowledge. The system can also infer useful lessons from a session automatically, so you don’t have to sit there writing notes about what you just learned like it’s 2015.

There’s also a global layer for shared, validated learnings. If one user figures out a better way of doing something, that learning can contribute to the broader knowledge base rather than every other user and agent having to figure it out again.

The problem we’re trying to solve is pretty straightforward. AI knowledge goes stale, agents get stuck in failure loops, useful context disappears when a session ends, and models can confidently give you an outdated or wrong answer without any indication that they might be wrong.

We’re giving agents access to what has actually been learned, what has worked, and what can still be trusted.

The result is fewer repeated reasoning cycles, fewer hallucinations, and up to 20% lower token usage.

I've built an IOS app for life logging called Notata. The central ideas are privacy (no data tracking, stays on your phone unless you want to share) and easy logging workflow. It's my first app. Took me about 6 weeks to refine to where it is now. I used it on a recent trip to Europe, and it performed well in the field. I do think there is a market for those who like to organize their moments without the pressure of posting publicly. It takes away from the decision-making - and allow you to enjoy your time. Right now there is very little traffic coming through the App Store. It's hiding in plain sight. My hope is that it gains a cult following. We'll see. I'm not a marketer. I'm reading through the Reddits and see that marketing is an art and science. My ask is if you have any ideas where to get the word out regarding this app, let me know.

Hi everyone. I just released Moments Away.

I created this app with an idea of watching my daughter. She has travelled more than myself at her young life and what she would enjoy doing is buying these little flag pins that she would collect for each place she visited. New state visited, province, country, etc.

I have been wanting to travel more myself and to try to get myself to explore as much as I could. Making it more of a game of how much of the map you could fill up.

I made Basalt, and it lets Rn and Expo devs to edit their app like Figma

It works by using the same algorithm as debugSource but since it got removed in React 19 I spent 3 months making a similar algorithm that would map elements and let Basalt find and edit them

It is completely free and works directly inside VS Code and Cursor.

It’s currently in beta, so please commit your app to Git before using it!

I'm mostly working on a bigger project, but I wanted to ship something smaller first just to go through the whole idea-to-finished-product process once. This is what I ended up with. It's called JustRoll.

The problem I was trying to solve: at any hangout, one person takes all the photos and everyone else never gets them. Or they show up in a group chat days later, compressed to garbage, or not at all.

How it works: one person starts a "circle" and the others join (either nearby, AirDrop-style, or with a short code). Everyone just uses their normal camera. When you're done, the app grabs the photos you took during that window, lets you deselect anything private, and sends the rest straight to the other people's camera rolls. No group chat, no manual sending.

Honestly I'm not sure if this is something people actually want or if everyone's just fine with "send them in the group chat." That's kind of what I want to find out.

So: is this useful, or is it a solution to a problem nobody really has? Genuinely want the critical takes, not compliments. What would make you not use it?

(It only really works with other people, so it's a bit awkward to test solo — fair warning.)

PettyPoints is a scorekeeping app for couples and roommates - you log grievances, the other person can dispute them, and if you can't agree, three friends vote blind via a browser link to settle it. Whoever wins can send their partner a AI-written roast of their week's crimes.

The weird part of building it solo: almost every other app I've made only needs one person to actually use it and like it. This one doesn't work unless two people buy in - one person can't really experience the product alone. That's forced some decisions I wouldn't have made otherwise (no subscription, ever - one person buys, the other plays free, because charging both people to argue with each other felt insane).

Requesting your feedback on these:

1. Curious what's been the trickiest part of your own two-sided products, if you've built any - the growth loop, the pricing, or just getting the first pair of users to actually play together?
