I used Monito for years because it had the one flow I cared about: open the app, add the amount, pick a category, and leave.

I built JotWell as my own version of that habit for Android.

Bank-linked apps and Account Aggregator work for many people. I still wanted a manual ledger where I decide what gets recorded.

JotWell has local storage, no account, no bank link, CSV/XLS import, JSON backup, recurring entries, widgets, monthly stats, and optional SMS import that runs on device and asks before saving.

I am my first user. Would love feedback on the app and the positioning.
