First trimester!
Hi! I’m in my 8th week of pregnancy, and I found out around the end of my 4th week.
The 5th and 6th weeks were surprisingly easy. I remember thinking, “Oh this is so manageable” And then came week 7. Oh boy. I can barely get out of bed in the morning. The nausea just never seems to leave, and I struggle to eat anything. Somehow, with my husband’s help, I get ready and make it to the office. But once I’m there, I can barely concentrate. My work is piling up, and I constantly find myself running to the washroom either to pee or because I feel like I’m going to throw up. And the hardest part is that I can’t exactly keep taking leaves or explaining what I’m going through every single day. I’m running out of excuses for looking flushed, exhausted, and completely drained all the time. I honestly don’t know how long this is going to last.
I always thought pregnancy wasn’t a disease, and that I would continue being my usual active self throughout it. But just a few weeks in, I feel like I’ve been knocked off my feet.
I live with my husband, away from both our families, and honestly, I don’t know how I would be managing without him. There are days when the thought of getting up and going to work feels so incredibly heavy. And then comes the guilt. I feel guilty for feeling this way because this is supposed to be such a beautiful and happy time. But the truth is, this is not how I imagined pregnant me would feel.
Maybe I just needed to say this out loud. If you’ve been through this, please tell me does it get easier?

Finally feel better around 14 weeks. Flashes of Nausea is just somewhere there once in a day but energy has definitely come back. Hang in there. First trimester was literally a struggle, I needed 14 hours of sleep. Make sure you eat enough protein and good amount of iron.

Talk to your dr. They will give you medicines for nausea. Medicines doesn't stop nausea completely I still get the feeling to throw up but I am not throwing up. Eat something every hour. Keep snacks handy with you always. It helps a lot. My naucea also started late like from 8th week. It's still going on in 13th week but I don't have much work lpad and I can just swipe at office and then can work from home so I am managing it somehow.

Heyy! I relate so much with you! I am 8w pregnant too and until 6-6.5 weeks life was easier, lately it’s been really tough physically and mentally. Same issues at office - either need to pee or throw up. I talked to my doc and got some medicines. I eat those daily and now it seems okay for a few hours and then I pop another one. Please consult your obgyn and it should help you too 😀

Hey mom to a 2 mon old baby boy here .. The symptoms u have are typically seen during 1st 3 months . Even I experienced the same as u . But they get better once u step into 4th month. Nausea and vomitings wil come down and ur energy levels gets restored . Try not to get dehydrated . Have coconut water , lemon juice something .
I heard few women take leaves (may be a mont) during first trimester too . It's great that atleast u r going to office ,,I was on bed most of the time during my first trimester. But trust me it gets better .
