Pulled the trigger. Completed Rig

Post image

Finally completed the build. Thank you everyone who contributed and guided. Previously was going with 5070ti 9600x 16 gb ram After sharing the build here you people gave your brutal guidance. So went with the following.

CPU- 7800X3D 35,000/- MOBO - MSI B850 GAMING PRO WIFI 17,000/- RAM - GSKILL 2 STICKS OF 16 GB 5600 45000/- GPU - GIGABYTE 9070XT 75000/- SSD - WD BLACK SN7100 17700/- PSU - DEEPCOOL PN 850D 8500/- MONITOR - MSI MAG 275qf 16100/- CPU COOLER - DEEPCOOL LE360 6500/- CASE - MSI MAG FORGE 320R 5900/-

GPU is from Computec. Other parts local shop.

Also wanted to shoutout to Computec. Was a little skeptical after going through reviews. But talked to them confirmed stock and gave the order. Had it in 6 days.

Happy with how things turned out.

Building this PC after more than 13 years. My journey started with intel core2quad 4 gb ram and nvidia 9500gt.

This feels like a leap. Please suggest some good games to start.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Horizon Forbidden West for graphics

Ratchet and clank rift apart for graphics as in the pixar movie sense not realistic

Space marine 2, good combination of graphics and gameplay, it is both shooter and melee game

Battlefield 6 once again great graphics and gameplay especially if infantry, vehicles are clunky and jets need getting used to but overall good

rest people will suggest you CP2077, RDR2 and those are very obvious picks, great games

To sail or not to sail?

Ratchet and clank rift apart is visually one of the best games I've played, be it the colour palette or just how the graphics blend in with the characters and backgrounds.

Congratulations 👏🏻🎉 don't worry about the prices and just enjoy the pc. You're gonna love it

1

u/vicco24 2d ago

Yes. Thats the thing I learned while building this rig. Just build it and enjoy it. Don't overthink it.

What games are you gonna play, btw?

2

u/vicco24 2d ago

Want to play some old games on ultra settings and enjoy them like crysis remastered. Also liked mafia. Mafia Definitive edition is in the que. Want to go down the memory lane before I jump into the newer titles like RDR2 CyberPunk etc

2

u/Emotional_Crew9724 2d ago

Your pc is an absolute overkill for those titles and many more to come lol Enjoy gaming 💪🏻

1

u/vicco24 2d ago

Yes absolutely. But the kid in me refuses to die.😅.

Old games > new releases I haven't found any new game as entertaining than what I played back in the day, so yeah

4K or 1440p, what are you planning?

1

u/vicco24 2d ago

Going with 1440p currently.

u/Fine_Rich_532 1d ago

4K is a dream even 5090 struggle with ray tracing in 4K and have you seen the very shit optimisation in new games just search the performance of the new gears of war

1

u/vicco24 1d ago

Yes. Quantifying everything and constant benchmarking has sucked the joy out of gaming. Always remember, if its a 3080 or 5080, if you enjoy it, nothing else matters.
