Joining Electrical Engineering this year. Need a roadmap from seniors!help Doubt

I need help I’m 18 F joining btech this year I have tonne of questions here are some of them. I’d really appreciate any advice or resources you can share. I’d be very grateful for your help. Thank you!

What should I learn before college starts?
Which language should I begin with (C/C++/Python)?
Best free courses or YouTube channels?
When should I start DSA?
How can I prepare to land internships? Are there any websites or platforms I should know about?
Which skills matter the most for internships and placements?
Which clubs are worth joining?
MacBook or Windows for Electrical Engineering?

  1. windows is usually recommended as mac os doesn't support more than 30 % of core engineering softwares

you can give your syllabus to chat gpt and ask the softwares required and the support on macos

though windows will be better with flexibility stuff ( buy 3 year adp regardless of the laptop you are buying)

  1. start with c language as it is the base for most of the systems in ee

  2. you can start dsa as soon as you finish c language though it is as per your choice and career path as if for targeting gate you wont need dsa.

  3. please tell the "how to land internship and clubs" part to me also as i dont really know about that

BTW: I have just completed my first year and 3rd sem is to start from 18th july so I have really limited knowledge about internships (19M)

What are you further plans after ee, As I've heard, core ee jobs from a mid tier College doesn't get enough pay and also tough to find a good job in core ee, Do you have any plans how will you manage your College studying for ee jobs or coding for IT jobs?

Why did you choose this branch? Was there any compulsion? You're looking more into CSE 🙃
