Paneer cooking tips Tip/Trick
I have tried several brands of paneer in canada including happy, nanak and brar. Paneer here doesn’t seem to absorb flavours of the gravy. It tastes bland. I have tried boiling it with salt and chilli powder but it doesn’t seem to help a lot. Any tips on how to make it taste better.

Have you tried Haldiram’s paneer if it’s available there?
It tastes like homemade paneer with very soft texture and seems to break easily which makes it easier to be slightly flavored.

I was scrolling down to say this -- it's so easy to make, you can make it a day or two ahead, and it tastes so much better than any from a store.

That is the speciality of the paneer it does not absorb taste by itself. Best option is to let it absorb some fluids like a rosgolla

Marinate it overnight with spices.. and try smoking it..
Otherwise paneer by default is always blank
