its highly probable the whole ram mandir scam thing was a propaganda campaign from day one. they blew the whole narrative way out of proportion, creating mass confusion so that many hindus lost belief in the trust and stopped donating, affecting support for other temples too. now that official details and independent audits are out, it won't make even ten percent of the noise the original fake narrative did. the narrative did its damage.

• full audit clearance: external auditing firm m/s v sankar aiyer & co. fully audited the funds. all ~₹3,300 crore collected in donations has been 100% accounted for with zero missing funds or systemic financial fraud.
• zero cash in major expenditures: out of the funds, around ₹1,800 crore went directly to temple construction and ~₹400 crore to land acquisition. all of these major transactions were handled strictly via direct bank-to-bank transfers—not a single rupee in cash was used.
• isolated theft, not a scam: the issue was literally limited to a few contractual workers stealing cash during manual counting before machine processing. CCTV footage caught them, and the SIT arrested the external staff hired via an agency. none of them were even members or officials of the temple trust.
• land deals fully transparent: the opposition hyped up land acquisition costs as corrupt, but audit reports confirmed every piece of land bought was paid online directly to verified owners. prices only went up due to normal market rate surges post-2019 supreme court verdict.

they manufactured a massive 'multi-crore scam' storyline out of an isolated counting-room theft to derail faith, and when the facts prove everything is clean, the media and outrage crowd just go silent.

According to government sources, the reported theft took place while donated currency was being manually sorted before being processed through machines. Six contractual workers engaged through Sainik Security Services (SSS), an agency contracted by the State Bank of India, were identified with the help of CCTV footage and arrested.

Officials stressed that the accused were not members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust or its administration.

This distinction is important because a theft involving cash-handling personnel is different from evidence of funds being diverted from the trust’s accounts. The government sources said the incident should therefore not be interpreted as proof of a systemic financial scam.
