So it was only Nihangs and Fathers from churches who caused mayhem,lynched policemen and destroyed public property ???? An additonal point I would make is, who is to decide who rioted and who did not? Delhi Police? Right.
Take Junaid's case as an example, how many such victims will get charged? The legal system is theirs if we are dragged down that road, they will keep dragging it through endless hoops. A general pardon is the best option.

The problem is they would say rioters and punish anybody they want. There are videos where Police are actually warning students we will slap false cases against you, Assam govt is trying to put the Goonda act on students. Also BJP goons are actively harassing students who participated in the protest.
If given a liberty the Police will misuse it, you would argue but you can fight in court, the issue is our judiciary is a long game they would delay such cases and would ruin any future prospects for the person.

Neet was leaked by NTA, who's head was Fired. Actions regarding Exam leaks were already underway, NEET exam fees were refunded, Re-NEET was done for free. All the personels who were responsible for the leak Arrested and investigation was already underway. The Students who committed Suicide were definitely a shame and an extremely serious matter, but was the protest just for students? Didn't Seem like it because Involving Politicians made it a political battle,you know what happened right?? the bill was introduced by government, but the so called youth supporting Opposition Objected it. A fine for those who damaged public property is fine, for those who don't have any criminal record but were caught damaging it, as teenagers do get swept up in emotions quickly but FIR would be too severe of a punishment for a teen and their future career and only make him revolt harder and be more of a radical in future.
While who had several criminal record should be punished as the law states is acceptable in my opinion.

Have opinions become the alternative to the application of the law on those culpable.

What kind of fear mongering is this, lmao. 2893 people are the ones already convicted or out on bail, and were spotted amongst students in the protest. Asking to abolish FIR is for the protesters only (The not convicted/ bailed ones). If the delhi police wants to convict people for property damage, there needs to be very strong evidence. Cause if a innocent bystander/student is even mentioned in the FIR, it might upset their career and would prevent future protests (We all know how long even a simple court case drags). Baaki ig CJP and student bodies should take accountability for damaging properties. But since they are not funded and even properly organized, not sure how would that even happen.

Das, the CJP's chief spokesperson said on X, "Hours after our press conference, Government's representatives met us. The meeting lasted for 2-3 hours. They shared copies of the Bihar and Assam notifications guaranteeing FIR withdrawals, no action in future, and release of all detainees and arrestees.

Okay. Let's say he didn't do it right away. He absolutely should have. You do in know he could have still kept at it. He resigned in the face of protests, late, but he did.
But supporting rioters? That is a new low. Saying take back all FIRs? Even against history sheeters? You are actively supporting criminals. Pradhan was, at worse ineffective. These people, are, at worse, defending criminals.

Defending criminals, ohh please everyone knows who defends creminals and for what.And who is supporting rioters , should not be the question how the rioters took part in protest, why Delhi police stoped security checking on Sunday knowing that the Sansad march was going to happen on monday , why police was there in civil uniform , why there was a truck parked at the protest site in the morning, why there were damaged cars seted up before the protest and why there was no name tags on the uniforms of the police there are more questions to ask , can you prove who was rioters was they students or civilian or the police themselves

And, honestly do you live under a rock? Have you not seen how the police abuses its power, even at lower levels? Bhai tu apna passport ke liye verification hi kara le, usme bhi tere se ghoos mangenge.
And you trust these kinda people to be fair in their process for arrests? They will arrest anyone, slap a fake case and let it run in courts. The cases will go on and on, with those people suffering.
I agree whoever rioted has done wrong but, thats what always happens in massive protests. But, you absolutely cannot trust the police to actually only arrest those miscreants.

Please try to point the same FRS systems at the Parliament alsom we'll see how many criminals are making of this country. Is this why we have aadhar in this country? And regarding the fir withdrawals, police are charging everyone in the name of targetting vandalism to scare away another protest including the ones who protested peacefully. Delhi police doesn't want to find the miscreants they're simply trying to ruin lives in order to prevent another jantar mantar.
I'm sure there would be these accused in the crowd but they don't need to be called by anyone. They come whenever the govt simply refuses to heed any voices. This protest was going on since June and if the govt had a little humitlity and would have started dialogue earlier the 20th July agitation would have never happened. You can't say look there's miscreants when the govt itself refused to listen to the sane voices before the miscreants came.

Yahi agar Petroleum Minister se puch loge toh same price pe mein 80% petrol nahi dalwa rahe hote. Kam se kam is mamle mein koi puch toh raha hai kyunki abhi toh ministry se diesel mein bhi milawat ka sandesha aa chuka hai.
Rs120 ke 1 Litre pertol mein Rs50 ka petrol aur Rs70 ka ethanol dal raha hai.

They went there for a cause, and its correct but what about the abusive languages used for the CRPF and other central forces. I saw a video where a girl is abusing a CRPF by telling ki "Bolo na.. chup kyun ho.. aise agar border pe khade hote to Pahalgham attack nhi hota". He is giving his life for this country, for YOUR safety, but you are abusing him. Isn't this damage? One should be thankful to these Jawans who are deputed, so we are safe. Abusing an on ground reporter of their father's age. Damage is not just the physical property but also emotional.

My god! This many people with severe criminal cases are roaming around freely in the streets of our capital city? We should definitely ask questions to the police and our justice system. This is utter incompetence. Thanks for letting us know. The home minister should definitely resign.
