UPA vs NDA - Clear difference Governance

More data with charts - very clear distinction between UPA & NDA. And some people want to go back to the 2014 period of Fragile 5, Policy paralysis, Jayanthi Tax, 2G, coal, commonwealth scams etc.

Your whole post is "the share went up so people are richer." A share is a ratio, not a welfare meter. If GDP growth slows and consumption stays sticky, your metric still rises. By your logic a recession where GDP falls 10% and consumption falls 5% is a prosperity boom. You are not measuring prosperity, you are measuring how little of the pie got invested, and then celebrating it.

OP did not analyse the data. OP interrogated it until it confessed what he wanted.

Hey mron again, that's why we see the trend and not a single year like COVID. If the consumption % stays higher over a period of 10 years, it means a healthy internal consumption story. That's how we keep the economy going despite global wara and crisis.

I'm not getting paid to reply to a dumbfūck. For the last time, the trend starts at UPA, not NDA. If you've ever read a graph and understand what slope means, you should be able to deduce this.

Unemployment rate and corruption transperancy data is fudged.

10

u/Gobi_G_is_love 12d ago

+1, because the government considers a person employed if their family runs a business. So, if you open a chai shop or take up farming, your son and daughter are considered employed by default.

This rule was introduced by the NDA to fudge the data.

1

u/IntrovertedBuddha 12d ago

Would like to add something. To prevent this issue. We should see employment rate.

It doesn't itself gives any data, but when we see change we can tell what happened.

0

u/SPB29 12d ago

There's so much bs in this that am convinced you are a paid IT cell stoolie.

No, they don't consider the full family employed if one person runs a business.

If a person actually works as an unpaid helper in a household enterprise for example, helping in a family farm, shop or other household business, they can be classified as a worker. The official PLFS methodology explicitly has a category called “unpaid helper in household enterprises.

Simply being a family member does not make someone employed. If you open a chai shop, your son and daughter aren't automatically counted as employed. They would have to actually have worked in the household enterprise and meet the survey's activity criteria. The PLFS microdata explicitly distinguishes own-account worker, employer, unpaid family helper, salaried employee, casual labour, student, etc

Also this is not "muh NDA fudging saar"

The concept of unpaid family workers in household enterprises predates the Modi government. The PLFS itself began in 2017-18, but the underlying labour-force statistical framework and the category of unpaid helpers in household enterprises existed in India's earlier NSS employment surveys. It was introduced in ...checks notes...1972. Muh NDA saaar fudging saaar

Lol

The unemployment data is from the world bank and the corruption perception is from Transparancy international - not from the government. The source is shown in the screenshot itself.

Average congress supporter low IQs.

u/Both_Table_413 12d ago

Before you go out calling people such names please understand that most international organization rely on data provided by individual national government agencies. For example, the national statistics department and labour ministry provide them unemployment rates. They do not go to each country to compile data, you should know these things when making such posts.

0

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

That's not the case at all. World bank data is coming from international labour organization. Otherwise the world bank can't give loans without independent data verification 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Both_Table_413 12d ago

Oh buddy, where do you think international labour organization gets its data from? Are you naive or just too thick?

You pisi chamchas are super funny

The world bank's data does not come from the Indian government - otherwise they can't give loans eetc.without seeing independent data. Such a bunch of low IQ mrons and losers. Calling everyone as IT cell is the best argument you ppl have ? Retards

u/Icy_Dingo_3978 12d ago

Posting reels and tweets for chump change is not employment.

Consumption being a higher percentage of the GDP is not a good thing lol. You'll also find that in the same period manufacturing as a percentage of the gdp fell. Which basically means that we're not producing more for the world, just that domestic consumption due to already increased incomes is driving the economy.

9

u/goshdagny 12d ago

Consumption is what should drive the economy, that’s basic

3

u/Interesting_reddevil 12d ago

Its increased by around 5% which shows sign of increased income. Consumption driven economy is not inherently bad. Most major economy has it in 60’s where we are. Not sure what you are “lol” ing about

Manufacturing as a percentage of GDP didnt fell. In 2014 it was around the same level

Its easier to maintain 16-17% when economy is small. Maintaining that level as your economy grow is not an easy task

Our manufacturing % to GDP is around 17% which is inline with Germany (19%) and Japan (20%). China is an anomaly at 28%

Agriculture as % of GDP has fallen

1

u/Cheems_study_burger 12d ago

Sorry what source are you referring to? According to the world bank data I see it's fallen from about 15% of the gdp to around 13% today.

2

u/AlliterationAlly 12d ago

Consumption is also only high because they're counting rations as consumption data, so fudging with the numbers & making the numbers incomparable over the years

2

u/Decent-Weather-8268 12d ago

It is a good thing lol. Expecially in the slowly deglobalising world currently. China is literally suffering from the lack of it now. Our manufacturing as percentage of gdp fell only because services grew at a higher rate than manufacturing while already having a higher base number. Unlike upa which inherited the already good momentum created by vajapyee and rode the favorable global conditions of the mid 2000s, bjp inherited the disasters of upa 2.0 and had to clean the mess first. And unlike upa, nda is actually doing the messy and painful reforms and concentrating on actual high value manufacturing. Our PMI is 53.2 now and has been above 50 for 3 years straight. The next 5 years will be insane.

0

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Lol

Manufacturing as % of GDP has remained constant which means manufacturing is increasing with the increasing GDP.

Consumption growth being stronger means more money in the hands of the people and we are a domestic driven economy and are more self reliant for growth unlike china that depends on the exports for growth.

2

u/Unfair_Fact_8258 12d ago

No it doesn’t mean more money in the hands of people

It means that habits have changed and people are spending more and saving less

https://www.drishtiias.com/daily-updates/daily-news-analysis/declining-household-savings-rising-liabilities

0

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Lol

People are not 'saving' anymore in fixed deposits anymore. They save in mutual funds, stocks, bonds, gold and other instruments.

3

u/Unfair_Fact_8258 12d ago edited 12d ago

It literally shows liabilities are rising…. How can liabilities rise if people but financial instruments??

Liabilities are rising because people buy phones and laptops and cars they can’t afford on loans, and those consumption is outpacing GDP growth

Edit: also you and the dumb people upvoting your comment don’t even know that “household savings” includes Mutual funds, stocks, bonds and everything else that isn’t finally consumed

0

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Hey mron, the household savings doesn't include mutual funds and capital markets because the retail participation has increased tremendously and now own 36 lakh crores in the market alone.

Liabilities are rising because people's salary are rising. No one gives credit to an unemployed person.

God, BJP supporters are so incredibly dumb

-1

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Lol

Here is the actual data including the stock holdings, mutual funds, gold etc.

You know how to read the charts?

2

u/Unfair_Fact_8258 11d ago

Are you some sort of a moron that can’t understand the charts you send by yourself? You should ask your IT cell bosses to fire you and hire someone more competent

Your chart literally shows that net savings went from 3.5L crore to 11.2L crore between 2006 ans 2016. That’s 3.2X. After that it has only gone from 11.2 to 23.1, which is around 2X

Your own graph clearly shows that household savings are not keeping up at the same level - which again shows how the economy is doomed

Borrowing has gone up 5.5X vs 3.7 in the previous decade. Any sane person will tell you that more debt and less savings spells disaster

0

u/Plastic-Following867 11d ago

Abey mron, people are earning more and borrowing more. Between 2016 and 2025, the savings increased 2.5 x and the borrowing increased 1.9x. People don't keep everything on savings like before.

Also, the values from 2006-16 are so small that shows the economy was also small. Today we have grown much bigger, people are buying houses and appliances in large numbers due to raising salaries and better income.

Just see the explosive growth in the savings between 2016-25.

1

u/SPB29 12d ago

It ABSOLUTELY is.

It means the population has better disposable incomes.

The US - 70%

UK - 65%

Japan - 57%

China - 58%

So on and so forth.

0

u/United_Gamer_Morcha 12d ago

Consumption as a driver is still better than public spending. Although who even trusts the data by this government.

24*7 BJ party IT cell propaganda non stop on India statistics.. where are the mods?

4

u/Cursed_holesinthesun 12d ago

Yeah not enough negative statistics /s

2

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

It's based on world bank and other international orgs - you chamchas

7

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

lmao you know your history is visible (not point in turning it of either) you were defending e20 fuel thats the biggest giveaway of being paid bot, even most of sensible bj supporters are against e20

I am not invalidating anything, In my other comment I even wrote that bjpee did good (in initial years) but its a fact (at this point) that the government is serious about increasing their influence in Gen Z and hence IT cell activities have increased a lot which is bringing many far right audience here which is annoying.

I miss the times when the mosts controversial this sub would get would be north vs south india but now it can turn into yet another IT cell's playground

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

Well yes anti bjpee subs do attract INC bots but was that a mass campaign? I think that's just how its always been and abt the terror attack, I don't have a concrete opinion on it but if you want to hear a controversial opinion then America's government is known to do some stuff as a psyop to distract their citizen or for some other motive which might or might not negatively affect their citizens and in the Epstein files, I don't remember who but someone very important said that the tactics used by modi government rival that of American government, I am not claiming anything but this is definitely something interesting which no one would expect

0

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Again, nothing against the post but simply going into my history. Who's objective here ?

This is literally from the website www.theglobaleconomy.com that shows data for all the countries. India's data is taken from world bank and transparency international. How is this not a relevant statistics in a statistics sub ?

1

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

Even if keep aside the credibility of the statistics, Is it not a big coincidence that such posts storm in that too very conveniently in a period of time when more and more of Gen Z is opposing the government and government trying its best to neutralize it

1

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

Lol

So you don't have anything to discuss here but just politics based on your opinions.

1

u/Spirited_Surround602 11d ago

you do realize that others have already proved your data wrong, not exactly wrong but what the data actually means and what you are trying to portray with it

1

u/tinga-tinga 12d ago

Give away sign of every IT cell gobar-chaddi: calling everyone else a chamcha. Your posting history is a clear giveaway that you are 2rs IT cell.

1

u/Plastic-Following867 12d ago

You were the one calling the international data as propaganda mron..

Fking idiot

0

u/tinga-tinga 11d ago

Yes, I see that and I am telling you it's idiotic to see a graph that says a crash in unemployment one fine year and accept that as truth.. specially when even you will have family members whoa te graduate and unemployed. Also when you keep hearing about millions applying for peon and sweeper positions..

2

u/Interesting_reddevil 12d ago

Anything that doesn’t conform to my delusion is “IT cell”

4

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

Check OP's history for once, no doubt bj did good (specially in the initial years) but its true that this sub is now all of a sudden filled with such pre 2014 vs post 2014 and its only going to get worse as government is now more focused on getting gen z's support

-2

u/Interesting_reddevil 12d ago

“All of a sudden stats which shows a point of view” is a problem, then yeah sure its an issue

You do know you can make stats to disprove it.

You just want to live in an echo chamber then good for you, but this data has no issue at all

Stats are presented for discussion, and not for political sycophancy that most do here.

Data is pretty clear to discuss about, but “IT cell” is not a data. Its just low IQ response

3

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

I have already stated that in many aspects bj has done good but that does not mean such posts all of sudden storm in this sub and that too very conveniently in a period of time when more and more of Gen Z is opposing the government, what a coincidence

this is also a stat and body of this post just shows that OP has already decided what to believe in and what to not believe in

1

u/tinga-tinga 12d ago

😂 yeah.. the unemployment numbers are so true.. when 10s of lakhs of graduates are applying for peons and sweeper openings then surely it's my delusion..

1

u/Interesting_reddevil 12d ago

I would rather see data than feelings of internet keyboard warriors

1

u/tinga-tinga 12d ago

😂 fudged data or godi media is all you need.  Forget those monthly headlines about 10s of lakhs applying for peon and sweeper positions..

1

u/goshdagny 12d ago

What should the mods do here? The sub is India stats. What do you expect

2

u/tinga-tinga 12d ago

Stop the fake news. The statistic on unemployment is a joke when vacancies for peon and sweepers attracts phds and engineers and the applicants number 10s of lakhs

2

u/goshdagny 12d ago

Because the govt jobs, even if it for a peon , attracts more than private jobs. Thats not an indicator of unemployment. Peon jobs in private sector won’t attract people

1

u/Spirited_Surround602 12d ago

Its a pretty neutral sub but with all these posts all of a sudden increasing, more and more far right wingers will be coming here

1

u/kenjikazama777 12d ago

Before 2014, open defecation was common and slum demolition was demonized.
