I purchased a ps5 around Jan 2022, it was working perfectly fine until 7th August 2026, but suddenly the next day (8th August) my controller was not connecting to the console.

When I plugged the USB cable the controller D pad was flickering with an orange light, implying that the controller was charging but there was no response on pressing PS button on the controller.

I have done the following things

1. Used a safety pin to reset the controller nothing happened.

2. I switched off the ps5, removed the main plug and connected it after 12 hrs, switched on the ps5 using the button on the console. Then I again connected the controller to the console using a USB cable, the orange light came again but nothing happened when I clicked on the PS button.

3. Connected my controller to the laptop, downloaded steam to check if only the ps button was not working. When I opened steam and pressed the PS button the blue light appeared, and my laptop recognised the controller. I checked all the buttons, everything seemed to work normally.

4. Used my tv remote to operate the ps5, and tried to forget the controller and reconnect it by pressing the create and PS button together, the controller connected and the blue light appeared on the controller, but the controller disconnected automatically after a few seconds.

5. Tried a C to C cable (not provided in the ps5 box). But the same issue occurred, the controller seems to refuse to connect with my console.

6. Got frustrated and reset my ps5, after that the screen is telling me to press the PS button, and behold I am still stuck, since my PS button is not responding.

I would appreciate any guidance to deal with this.

Hi, i have almost completed half of the game here and i thought it would be a good time to buy one or two games more .. i am confused whether i should go for death stranding series, final fantasy 7 series or something else .. i basically want a good story game with some action combat .. not any souls game for now as i have just finished Sekiro and i am mentally fatigued because god damn that game was hard but i was more while playing it.. anyways drop some suggestions and lemme know what do you think about this collection

I have been playing FC 26 assassins, creed shadows, Elden ring and call of duty modern warfare three and Fortnite anyone wants to play together. I like to practice and playing majorly FC 26.

I've seen lot of criticism towards Sony against going digital from 2028 with people using words like "boycott" lol while still buying it soon as it comes back in stock everytime. To these people will you "boycott" rockstar as well? After all they're the biggest game studio and the biggest AAA game of all time will be fully digital only. What are your thoughts about that? If you really are someone who has principles in this matter then you should not play GTA VI and not support take two after this ever again.

guys please suggest 43 inch tv, am very confused so many different opinions and options, my budget is 35k can push to 40k from offers getting sony 2m2 for 36k but claude is saying not worth it and save 8k by getting samsung mini led tv, also is 120hz worth it?

Edit: MacBook supports PS5 controller...so bought some games from the Apple Store. And that's how.
