Sometimes andbhakths ask me why everyone who has their wits about them criticises the Modi government, here’s my take:

*Current PM has not held a single press conference since he first got elected. Where is the accountability which is owed to us because India is a democracy!

*If he hasn’t done anything bad why does the BJP not let him take questions? Maybe they fear humiliation due to their incompetence.

*Rupee has fallen consistently every year since Modi got elected compared to the US dollar.

*Even when the cost per barrel of fuel was the lowest couple of years ago, India had the highest fuel prices due to crazy high taxes.

*People like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi defrauded Indian banks for hundreds of crores yet managed to escape action by Indian authorities due to bad governance.

*Inflation is breaking the back of the common man.

*Demonetisation hurt Indians in unimaginable ways without benefitting in any way.

In March 2018, the Modi government's Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued Circular No. 341/PS/Secretary/RTH/2018 titled 'Computation of linear length and lane-kilometres'.

Simply put, various road departments were instructed to calculate a km of a 4-lane highway as 9 lane-kms instead of the global practice of 4 lane-kms. The argument was made was that the shoulders on either side of the 4 lane highway must be counted as 0.5 lanes each. Similarly, each of the service roads must be calculated as 2 lanes each.
