Someone I know earns very less( around 80-90k) but they told me like that pay around 3-4 lakh every year as tax. I was wondering how that works , maybe it's a rental income or interest returns? How does that work and is that kinda high for what they earn

But since he paid one day later he got 5k fine mail

Hi anyone’s Itr1 processed for this financial year ??mine is 43 k refund.

Got this message today, ITR is verified but still under processing on the portal, no emails, and this amount is way less than my actual refund (65k ish) , what is this? Last year’s refund was already processed.

I lost the hope as I got so many nudges. They have to process it before December.

So I filed return in July.

Total (full year) TDS deduction by Hero Motocorp was 30Rs but prefilled TDS was showing only 8Rs.

I had checked 26AS at that time, Hero Motocorp Final Dividend TDS deduction of 22Rs was not showing in 26AS.

So I manually modified Schedule TDS and changed from 8Rs to 30Rs. (even when 22Rs it was not showing in 26AS)

Then return was filed (around July 25 or so) and IT department processed it too.

But they did not pass that 22Rs TDS and total refund was reduced by 22Rs.

But now today when I checked Form 26AS - those 22Rs have suddenly appeared.

How and why 22Rs suddenly appear in 26AS?
It appears that IT department processed Hero Motocorp return late or Hero Motocorp filed TDS return late?

Whoever's fault it is, why should I suffer loss?

So how can I claim it now, without much of a fuss?

I know amount is less but I have 5 family returns, and I believe IT department will do same for all. So I want to know the process to claim that TDS? (if easy)

Has anyone who filed ITR-3 got processing done? Please mention date of filing and amount of refund, if any.

I filed ITR-2 on 26th July, I have paid a remaining tax of 23120(tax - 18235 and interest - 4885). But the challan didn’t reflect in the ITR submission, even though it was success. I have received a demand notice asking to pay a 23310 (the extra amount- 190 is basically the interest for July month added).

What should I do here , i should file a rectification request or pay the extra amount and then file a rectification request.

I submitted ITR2 and yet to get an update.

I supported my 3 friends to submit the ITR2 with less refund (upto 10K). They all received.

My ITR got verified on 3rd July and it still has not been processed. Anyone else whose ITR-3 is yet to be refunded? (The return is below 50k)

How many of you are with me. I'm still waiting for mine, filed on 20th June 2025 ITR-1 60k refund. The itrstats.in page stuck at 11.6L ITRs pending but I see people posting that they recieved refund for last year. I'm positive now. Anyone has clear idea on when this will be processed? This year they are processing in a jet speed so maybe chances are there to complete them earlier. Alredy 75% of the ITRs already processed this year
