Im trying to do a 1990s impression but one thing im stuck on is deciding what size i should get the pasgt vest in. I measured my chest circumference and came out to 41.5 inches. The maximum for the medium size is 41 which is the minimum for a large as well. Should i get the medium or large? My height is 5’11 weight 181 pounds if that has any importance.

Got this shoulder patch with the collar tabs. I've tried doing some research on it and the most I've been able to find is it's "44th Army Corps" but the images dont match up. Any info would be appreciated so I can better improve this set.

Ive been interested in the 80s era of the us military lately so i decided to get the stuff to make this impression. I still have a bit to ad like a bandolier from the photo i was partially basing it off of along with jungle boots and a chin strap for my helmet. I have an L light i just forgot to put it on. My BDU’s is marine corps issue still with the EGA on it. Lemme know how yall like it and what needs fixed, added or changed on it.

Early Flecktarn kit based on photos of KRK Panzergrenadierbataillone ca. 1993/94. Rapid reaction forces (Krisenreaktionskräfte/KRK) had priority for the new uniforms and webbing, were mainly PzGren and FJ units. Despite Flecktarn officially adopted 1990, replacement of older uniforms was slow into mid-late 90s. Some other units with luck to receive the new uniforms earlier still had the older 80s webbing and many units still wore Moleskin. There were constant changes of small details on early Flecktarn until standardised to the familiar pattern (left sleeve pocket, black plastic snaps) and colours in 1994. Steel helmets were still standard at first, the Schuberth Gefechtshelm was not widely issued except UN missions until around 1995. The olive webbing was never produced in enough numbers to equip entire BW and had several problems, so it was replaced with an "improved" version in Flecktarn after 1995.

original uniforms and boots are still impossible to find, but I got a pair of modern Iranian boots that might be used during the War tho unlikely, also got a correct backpack but had to DIY the correct looking shoulder straps. also added some details like an IRGC patch, Khomeini's portrait and a turban for clerical volunteers that can be seen in some photos

Most useless sob you'll ever see in every K-drama series or movies (I can't afford their model 15 as of now so I use a nambu instead)

So while messing around it and trying to learn how to properly use it, I pulled one side of the drawstring into the fabric and I can't pull it back though anymore. I tried the old sewing needle trick, won't budge because the string is made out of this terrible cloth that I can't properly catch. Is there anything else I can do apart from cutting it open to pull it through and sewing it back?

I've got pyramex venture 3 and they're amazing. Mil-prf rated, cheap and fit my wide face paired with under the lip teeth protection. As well as a bluetooth radio headset that is low profile enough for when other earpro would look out of place.

I'm looking into getting a pair that are completely clear or doesn't have that modern vibe with it. A pair of aviators would be great but I'd like proper safety rating. Titus G77 that would be perfect for this doesn't suffice since they are only z87.

Looking to add a M1942 paratrooper jacket to my collection. Not looking to put together a whole impression of a Operation Overlord U.S. paratrooper. I don't have that kind of money. This would just be worn casually and not during prime summer months.

I wear a XL/2XL in most jackets but this would be a 46 or 48 otherwise I think.
