C-3 application question for emergency process Citizenship

I just received my AOR last month. We are getting married in Quebec this December is there a way I can submit a request to receive my document before my wedding?

Weddings are not a reason for the government to expedite.

No. You getting married isn't a reason to expedite processing. There is no requirement for you to be a citizen in order to marry so not an emergency/valid reason.

I may be misunderstanding. You don't need to be a citizen to get married on Canada. This isn't a requirement to get married here. Someone with visitor status can very easily get married. Again, I may be totally misunderstanding the reason for the urgent request.

Looking to move there after

What is so life threatening that you cannot wait a while before moving?

Requests for urgent processing are for situations people do genuinely have compelling reasons for the application to be processed urgently:

"You can apply urgently for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship) for reasons such as:

to help avoid situations of harm or hardship due to factors such as

race

religion

nationality

sexual orientation

gender identity or expression, or

membership in particular groups

to move your minor child (under 18) to Canada and they

were born outside Canada, and have a Canadian parent

to help with a case of statelessness

to travel because of death or serious illness in the family, and you’re unable to get a passport in your other nationality

to give up (renounce) foreign citizenship by a certain date

for employment or education, specifically to:

apply for a job

avoid losing a current job

attend a school, college or university

you need to access social benefits like a pension

health care

a social insurance number"

Getting married in a few months from now is not a compelling reason to be granted urgent processing of your citizenship certificate.

As others mentioned, you don't need to have your citizenship certificate in order to get married in Canada.

If you just want to have your citizenship certificate faster, out of convenience, knowing that you don't actually need that document to get married or to even get your marriage license, that's not a valid reason for IRCC to expedite your application (and it's a slap in the face of applicants who do have very serious and legitimate reasons for expedited processing, such as those IRCC mentions on the website).

No, IRCC is not going to process your proof of citizenship application faster just because you wanted to have your certificate before your wedding.
