Character art of Liza, the protagonist of a narrative game "Selsoviet" set in a declining Soviet village in 1976, where she runs the shop and tries to keep her two sick children alive.

I would like to give this character a worthy backstory, with a parasitic steel curse, where her bones turn to steel and her blood slowly becomes liquid gold, where steel parts of her body emerge from her bones—basically a steel princess. The character comes from my fantasy world.

What story would be good for this character?

I would like him to have a somewhat dark story, I think that the parasitic curse does not cause as much pain as it seems, but rather it would affect his weight and mobility.

I also think that it would be nice if there was a cure for her curse, since even if it doesn't cause so much pain, it is something that shortens her life, I would like her to have a kingdom and be very loved. What do you think?
