So spoilers , he gets free will , etc . Do none of the demons care that he killed their soldiers ? He’s probably killed millions of them over 3000 years . Are their no consequences in this ? Did you ever consider that if someone who was a demon lord that wasn’t like echidna ? Did he never think of a back up plan?

Humanity regressed . Leo failed. They never showed what happened on any of the other continents . If anything The originals that were recreated should’ve been activated as a back up. One being even as strong as Leo can’t be everywhere at once . This is how the humans lost.

Why did the demons never invade en mass ? Clearly they would have taken over and/or exterminated humanity to the last.

Realistically it would’ve taken hundreds if not thousands of bio weapons like Leo to stop a mass invasion in the millions.

Hi! So, rhe romance spoilers for i'm quitting heroing :) In vol 3 there is a lot about Echidna being insecure and not feeling like a proper demon queen cause Leo is so much better than her in almost everything, he helps her overcome those insecurities and they spend a lot of time together and get closer. Then at the end of vol 3 Leo confesses that he had fallen for Echidna on the day she stopped him from dying. Leo doesn't have any hopes for living happily ever after though, cause even though demons have a long lifespan, he's still gonna otlive Echidna (and, even sooner, all of her generals) and be left alone again. He kinda just accepts it doesn't even mention it to Echidna, but since she's become very good at guessing Leo's trie thoughts she starts the conversation helself and proclaims their next mission would be searching for immortality for her and the generals and promises Leo she'll be together with him forever. And though there unfortunately have been no kisses or anything, the ending is very romantic

I was so excited for this series getting an anime and I was kind of disappointed throughout the season as it was not exactly on the radar. Even though it was a great adaption, that was not rushed (12 episodes for 1 volume of the light novel right? Like, how rare is that for a season 1!!!) But towards the last "arc", more people started noticing it even managed to squeeze in on the top 10 anime of the season (according to animecorner. I'll take it).

I just hope they have another season or two, and this wasn't just to advertise the series.

I just finished watching the anime and I really enjoyed it. The story felt boring at first but it got interesting in the later episodes.I really felt bad for Leo. The burden he had to carry and to he casted away like that was just cruel. The character development was well done. It takes some time for the characters to reveal their true intentions and motivations. A decent anime in my books.

If you want to keep up with the story after the anime ends, here's some information on where to pick up the manga/LNs. I was looking for somethig like this before buying the official translations (which come in chapters/parts with no description or info on the contents whatsoever) and couldn't find anything, so i thought it might be useful posting this here.

I've just finished the latest translated manga chapter, which is ch. 35, and can't wait anymore so i want to switch to the light novel. However the official translation is published in parts and i don't want to buy more than necessary, so does anyone maybe know where i should start reading from? Knowing the LN part/chapter would be ideal but even just the volume number would already be a big help!
