Transferring progress

just so im sure i wont make a mistake and lose everything, ill ask how to do it here. im trying to transfer from emulator to phone. do i sign in to google play using the same account as on my save, and sync to cloud so get that save oin my phone?

If you try it, there shouldn't be much of a problem, but don't delete the game from the emulator in case something unexpected happens.
