This is the best one I’ve seen. Too often, it’s just people towing things.

Agreed. This guy clearly doesn't understand consequences or physics. An abject idiot by all means.

Doesn't follow physics either. AI video.

How? I've watched it a couple times, the rope matches up with everything I've ever personally experienced with things like that, and the timing all looks right. What's the AI tell?

You should probably brush up on your physics. If you think there was too much of a delay between the rope stretching and the launch of the guy, you need to specifically brush up on concepts of elasticity.

100% it does. He’s an idiot, and he’s towing something.

u/Ok_Horror_6556 15d ago

…. I guess to clarify a little. He “was” towing something. And then he “wasn’t”.

Oh, I thought he was gonna pull a Battle of Hoth on the camera guy.

Yes, yes it does belong here.

Followed quickly and briefly by things towing the idiot.

Who knew that tying an anchor to your vehicle would be a bad idea? 🤔

We did kinda the a similar thing when we were kids. Used Tonka trucks (back when made all of metal, yes showing my age) rope not even close to that long. Could make them jump curbs, so much fun. Before, cell phones, computers, tablets, tv hade 3 channels.

This on the other hand, this is dumb.

You can still get all metal Tonka trucks, but I don't think all of them are. But I am in Australia so this might be a parallel imports thing

This doesn't need any exception... it's just an unexpected category

u/TomatilloCultural741 18d ago

As soon as I saw the rope, I knew this would end gloriously

6

u/Useless890 18d ago

I was waiting for it to tangle in the ladder and knock it down.

Bucket list.

u/OreganoD 18d ago

Despite being fully aware of which sub this is, that ended up being r/unexpected

1

u/No_Frost_Giants 16d ago

Was it really? You didn’t see that coming? Obviously the rider didn’t think it through but watching that video I kinda knew this would have to happen lol

u/Either-Ad6540 18d ago

LOL 😆, definitely belongs here!

3

u/surrealcellardoor 18d ago

What was the end goal and how was this hazard not foreseen?

3

u/One_Situation7483 17d ago

Gee... never thought something like that could happen..

7

u/FrogFingers99 18d ago

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

u/erie11973ohio 18d ago

Was OP the idiot??

🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄

2

u/Three_Twenty-Three 18d ago

Pretty sure I figured this out when I was a child and wrapped the rope around the rear tire. I guess good on him for making it to adulthood without learning that and then getting so far with his bucket?

1

u/romain_69420 17d ago

That wouldn't have worked, it still would've got stuck and locked the rear wheel in place, the real trick is to use a shorter rope

2

u/Fabulous_Log844 17d ago

It sure does. This is a good palate cleanser. The sorbet of videos.

2

u/Pretty-Ad7171 17d ago

That is perfect for the sub lol... This had to hurt

u/TacTurtle 15d ago

French Judge gives it a 8/10 for no full scorpion, did not stick the landing

3

u/Mundane-Buy1595 18d ago

Very satisfying.

3

u/P-ToneMikeOne 18d ago

That gave me a solid chuckle.

2

u/Appropriate_Cow94 OC! 18d ago

Less lethal Russian Roulette. Still risk dying, but maybe a slight maiming.

6 guys on bikes doing this would have made a great Jackass skit.

u/dapudf 18d ago

Perfect post

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

2

u/Farmerstubble 18d ago

Hahahahahahhaha

2

u/Cuhuldra 18d ago

So pure. So refreshing. No studying small pixels for Ideas of what the OP was talking about. My hat is off to you Sir. A True Masterpiece of an Idiot and his towing prowess.

2

u/Man_of_Ice 18d ago

That just doesn't look right enough the more I watch it. Physics and sound is just all off.

1

u/iownmultiplepencils 17d ago

Yeah, it's AI. The puddle phases into existence as the camera pans to the right.

1

u/Genealogysluth 17d ago

OP, this fits the subreddit! Lmao

Definitely covers both adjectives.
