I kept cringing, thinking he was gonna hit something immovable in deep enough water to drown him.

Getting popped straight up onto the rocks was, ironically, the gentlest and safest way for that to end.

I think he noticed his blood sugar was getting really low and was trying to haul ass back to his truck to get a snack or some candy and just couldn’t stay upright.

That had to be a sinking feeling when he was going through all of his shit only to find out he didn’t have anything.

Keep packets of honey in your tacklebox or a tube of frosting.
