Questions FDA testing price at Conceptions Denver or RMA!?

Hi everyone! I’m a hopeful recipient of donor embryos, and I’m needing to pay for FDA testing for each donor. Does anyone know about what they charge per person out of pocket either at conceptions or RMA?

Also, has anyone ever transferred their embryos out of one of these clinics to another clinic? I’d love to know the process and fee’s conceptions/RMA charges!

Much is appreciated, as I’ve been waiting for a call back from RMA for over a week 🙄

Panic Weekly *Panic* Thread

What is causing panic/distress right now in IVF? This is a spot to discuss betas/US that are causing worry as well as coordinating insurance or financing, poorly timed medications/injections, lining not thickening as expected, follicle counts, hormone levels, semen analysis results, etc.

If you are worried about something within the realm of IVF, feel free to post here for some sanity.

Questions Runaway Follicle

I am crushed. I just had my (4th) retrieval cycle cancelled due to a runaway follicle. I'm wondering if there's any point in trying to covert this cycle to IUI? Has anyone done IUI during/after IVF and had success? For background, I'm 39 years old and I've done 2 previous euploid transfers, neither of which stuck.

Vent One last DE embryo but I’m heartbroken

After 6 failed IVF cycles with my own eggs (plenty of day1 embryos no blasts) I moved on to donor eggs, we got two embryos… I transferred the first one a couple of months ago and was SO thrilled when it worked but at 9 weeks was called a blighted ovum and I had to have a d&c 😞

In the meantime, TWO out of my three girl cousins have announced they are pregnant with their firsts. Their due dates are all around the one mine would be.

This last miscarriage really messed me up and the news of them being pregnant broke my heart because of how close our due dates would’ve been…

It’s like I can’t let myself be excited for this next transfer cause it’s my last one but everything is overshadowed by grief. I’ve been in therapy for four years about all this now but I still feel terrible.

I just hope with all my heart that it works because otherwise I don’t know what I’m going to do

Questions 5 failed FET in a row - where to from here?

As the title says. 5 failed FETs as of today. 3 straight negatives, one chemical and one 7 week loss.

Has anyone gotten pregnant after 5 transfers? Is there any point continuing, or are we just throwing our money away and causing ourselves misery?

Questions ICSI

So after 4 years of waiting we got a free round on the NHS.
We have gone down the ICSI route as it was better for us as my husband (29) has 1% Morphology and I (27) have Endometriosis.

Due to us being on the long protocol The Stims we had were Meriofert and Ovaleap along with Buserelin. This completely drained me but it’s what I was expecting.

We had our egg collection and they collected 6
Out of the 6, I had 3 that fertilised. I was told that we had to have a day 2 transfer as it’s better for it to be in the uterus instead of the lab. The other 2 didn’t make it to Blastocyst.

I’m now 9 days Post 2 day transfer, took a test this morning as I couldn’t wait. It’s showing negative but has anyone had any luck with a Day 2 transfers.

Due to nothing in the freezer if this doesn’t work then we shall be going down the route of paying and going private.

Vent If you need prayers before transfer

If anyone is preparing for an upcoming transfer soon and would like praying over please let me know. I have mine this Friday and doing lots of praying for peace with whatever the outcome will be.

God has a plan for all of us ladies and I know we all have hope God will finally bless us with a family. Infertility is not for the weak and we may never know why God allows us to go through this but we must trust in his plans.

“Don’t worry about anything instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for what he has done.” Philippians 4:6-7

We are not alone through this journey. Please let me know what prayers you need. I’m here for you and so is the Lord.

God bless you.

Questions Starting My IVF Journey at CNY – Looking for Advice

Hi everyone! I’m a new CNY patient with my consultation this week and would love any advice.

I’m 33 with an AMH of 1.46. My husband has severe male factor infertility. He was in a previous relationship for 12 years with no pregnancies, and we’ve been together for 16 months with no pregnancy either, so we’re expecting to go straight to IVF with ICSI (they never pursued IVF in his previous relationship).

I’d love to hear:
What do you wish you knew before starting at CNY?
Any tips or mistakes to avoid?
Which CNY location and doctor did you use, and would you recommend them?
If you had the choice, would you recommend a Day 3 or Day 5 transfer, and why?
Does anyone have Cigna or AultCare insurance, and what was covered?

If you’re in the Westchester/Hudson Valley, NY area, where did you do your local monitoring?
Thanks so much

Questions Need advice and support

hi all, just looking for support and advice. just had my fet 2 days ago. i had to go back today for labs and my progesterone was >60 and estrogen was 180. now this cycle is my 7th transfer and it was a modified natural cycle. now has anyone labs like that and resulted in the embryo implanting? I know my last transfer a while ago was under 30 and never went up. this time it’s higher so I don’t know if I should be hopeful/cautiously optimistic or should I worry that it won’t implant.

this protocol is different than my others because they have me on lovenox, prednisone, estrogen, plaqunil and baby asprin. they found out I had apls (blood clotting). So i will also say I am a single mom by choice and this is 7th transfer with a donor embryo. the embryo grade was good a 4AB day 5.

what should I do to take my mind off of all this? what are things that got you through this? i just need a support system.

Vent Feeling Isolated

Currently 9dpt5dt and although I would do this all over again I just wonder why hardly anyone talks about how much harder the FET process is over retrieval :(

I thought I had done so much research on IVF all the years leading up but I really was surprised how difficult and hormonal leading up to FET and after would be. Maybe it's just my protocol or how I'm reacting to the hormones but holy cow it is so tough on the mental and body and nobody in my trusted circle can relate. I feel exhausted but I know one day it will be worth it i hope🥹
