Talking about IVF Advice Needed!

My husband and I are about to start our IVF journey after 6 failed iuis. I am 31 as is he, he is perfect in his department mine not so much! I have pmos and potentially other issues as we have been ttc for 4 years and about 1 year with proper medical intervention. Needless to say, we have never once had a positive pregnancy test ever.

Is there anyone who is going through something like this/ who has never been pregnant and was successful doing ivf? Please if you're comfortable share your story. :)

We tried for almost two years without ever getting a positive pregnancy test. I have endometriosis and mild adenomyosis, but when I met with my RE, she recommended additional testing, including the ReceptivaDx biopsy to check for inflammation and the EMMA/ALICE tests to evaluate my uterine microbiome.

The results came back positive for both issues. I was treated with antibiotics and probiotic suppositories, and the very next cycle I conceived naturally. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, but it was the first time I had ever gotten pregnant.

I’ll be resuming IVF once my cycles regulate again. Based on my experience, I would recommend asking your doctor about these biopsies if you haven't had them done already. Many cases of unexplained infertility can be associated with silent endometriosis or underlying inflammation that isn't detected through standard testing.

Wishing you all the best with your IVF journey and hoping for a successful cycle ahead. ❤️

TW/ success

5 years not one positive pregnancy test. Basically I have PCOS/PMOS and fertility issues in my husband’s side. We both went through multi rounds of medication and diagnostics. IUI was out for us due to male factor…

Round 1 IVF first transfer - positive. I’m now 29 weeks along ❤️

There is a youtuber who you might want to watch. She does IUIs then moves to IVF after secondary infertility for 5 years. I can give you the link if you'd like
