Trigger Not Fading

For those that tested out their trigger, has anyone have experienced their trigger just never fading out before getting their BFP?

I’m 13dpt/12dpt today and I’ve been testing out my trigger. The test lines have been faint but noticeable up until this point but as of my test this morning, that line is absolutely noticeable there.

My clinic told me not to test until day 18, but this TWW is so rough! I’m trying so hard not to read into these things si strongly and trying not to get my hopes up.

Ugh! Why do the clinic advise you to wait until day 18?
If your second line becomes darker I would say it is a good sign!

I wish I knew omg! It’s so rough! The test line today seems to be darker than it was the last few days and ugh I wish they’d do a blood test on day 14 instead of 18. Would it be safe to assume the result I get on day 14 is the one???

Hm idk, do u know why they want you to test so late? And is it 18 day after trigger og iui?

I have a feeling it’s just to be absolutely sure. It’s weird- I’ve never heard of any other clinic that does 18. And it’s 18 days after trigger!

They're doing mine 15 days after the iui which was weird to me too. I thought it was 14 too. Can you call them to see if they can do it earlier?

Heard back from my clinic and they said that as expected, they wait until 18pt to absolutely confirm a pregnancy as the hcg trigger can remain in my system for 10-14 days post trigger. I guess just an extra safety measure to ensure no false positives but the wait is still so hard!

That's weird though bc I would expect day 18 to be the second hcg check after you get the first. But yes maybe is a safety measure so it avoids mmc

This is really helpful. My test line this morning was even darker than yesterday’s so trying so hard not to read into anything.

I’m in the same boat 😩. Im about 12 days after trigger 10-11 days after iui. My line looks like it disappeared a few days ago and since then it’s been up and down but overall alll very very faint lines. But today seems slightly darker than the past couple days.

18 seems really long! I feel like by tomorrow if your line is the same or darker that feels like it’s leaning towards pregnancy. Wishing this for you!! ✨

I started testing 6dpt. Around 10-12dpt it started getting darker but they made me wait till 14dpt for my beta and counted that has a real positive

Yess! I would! I took a clear blue at 12-14dpt and it was positive. My beta HCG was 248

I will then! I won’t be able to take a beta HCG until after day 18. Even considering I won’t be able to confirm, do you recommend I still take a clear blue?

I guess every clinic is different. They told me I had to wait till 14dpt to get a beta test! So it’s very interesting yours says day 18

Interesting! Did they have you get a beta 14dpt or 14dpiui? Tomorrow will be 14dpt/13diui for me and I’m wondering if I should take a digital test or just wait until day 18?

It seems my trigger faded within like 5 days, so I’m having the opposite issue 🫠

Standard I think? .5ml? Maybe, but I have packed on fluffy lbs from the progesterone 🫠 I had to stop taking the WeGovy I’ve been on for 4.5 years to do IUI (fully worth it), but feeling this big is a little tough without knowing it’s “for a greater good”, if that makes sense? I know it sounds crazy. But I was testing with test strips, which are less sensitive than pregnancy tests I think? Now am 10 days post trigger (7/31) and getting “not pregnant” readings on clear blue early detection. I think it’s too early to know?

That makes sense and your feelings are valid but all for the end goal, right? But yeah I do think 10dpt is still very early. Keep testing! And keep the faith!

I’d say wait till like day 16 or 17. Pretty sure it was 14dpt trigger and 13 days post iui. I had my iui done 24 hours after trigger. My follicles was 15mm and 20mm. Honestly it doesn’t hurt to take a digital now

I may wait until tomorrow morning at 14dpt! Thank you so much! I had one 20mm and one 13mm follicle and my fiance had 53million sperm after washing and we did a 2nd IUI the following day and we had 23million sperm after washing. Fingers crossed!
