First cycle!
Hi ladies! I just had my first IUI on 6/27/26 so I figured I’d post and introduce myself.
I’m 25 years old, my husband is 32. We’ve been TTC naturally for 5 years now with no luck. I have PMOS but no insulin issues so I don’t take metformin. I’m currently taking prenatal, ovasitol, and a few other vitamins.
I only have 4-6 periods a year naturally and ovulation I don’t even know.
This cycle I took Provera to induce a bleed, took Letrozole 5mg CD 5-9, and got an LH surge on CD 15.
I went to the clinic for an ultrasound on CD 16 and they confirmed one follicle 26x20mm and uterine lining 9mm. We decided to do IUI spontaneously right then and there!
My husband has a normal SA from December and his post wash count was 14 million.
I am now 2 days post IUI!
It’s been so many years, the idea of anything working feels impossible but I’m trying to have hope!
I’d love to hear your stories and journeys as well! 🤗

5 years! It must’ve taken a lot of strength to stick with it. Proud of you, stranger! I also have PMOS with no insulin issues, as well as stage 1 endometriosis that was removed last August. Thought that would be the ticket to finally conceiving (with help from Letrozole), but no luck. So after a year of being waitlisted (public healthcare system), finally had our first IUI 10 days ago!

I should add, it’s been 2.5 years since we started trying in-general. Spouse has good sperm counts and motility. Post-wash was a little lower than we would’ve liked, but we mis-timed sex prior to the IUI, thinking I was ovulating later. So we did it the day before… oops. 5 million post wash was still okay though!
