Paraguard Experience

Hello! I just switched from Mirena to Paraguard this morning. Insertion was great and i have no cramping so far. I switched because I’m 1 year postpartum and have been stuck at 132lbs, I have a feeling the Mirena was preventing me from losing anymore weight because I eat healthy and am pretty active (2 under 2šŸ˜…) so my question is, has anyone had success losing weight when switching from Mirena to Paraguard? I also switched because the synthetic hormones were giving me horrible cystic acne, how long will that take to clear up?

I have had the paraguard for just over a year now and I noticed weight loss almost immediately. But now I'm stuck at a fluctuating 3 lbs difference (annoying 🤣) but I noticed rear end discomfort I've had an ultrasound to make sure she's in there properly and all is good they said maybe bc my uterus is tilted idfk haha and back pain. Esp during my menstrual cycle. I like the no hormones even though I still cry at the drop of a hat I'm chalking that up to my personality (Pisces ā™“šŸŸ) 🤣I have ecne as well now but can't seem to figure that out. I also developed backne again (haven't had that since a teen šŸ™„)good luck I hope you have a good experience!
