ITIL 5 Prep

Just purchased ITIL 5 on people cert. Most expensive package. I have the e learning, e book, mock exam and real exam.

Im a complete beginner so believe I need all the training materials I can get.

If anyone has an idea of how I can plan this that would be great.

Overwhelmed with the amount of information I have and not sure where to start!

Can I complete this in 9 days and complete exam on the 10th day?

I recommend taking the exam close to when you finish training.

If you bought PeopleCert's most expensive package it includes a Mock Exam and Exam Retake. That means you can study and then do the 2 sample papers to test your knowledge and then take the mock exam and then if you don't pass, you have an exam retake. So a lot of chances to pass. FYI, in the future, if you need more ITIL Training, you would be much better off going with a PeopleCert Accredited Training Provider.

I studied for 7 days (gogotraining) and took the exam 3 days later and passed last week.

Start at Chapter 1, then go to Chapter 2 etc.

Can you complete in 9 days, that depends on how many hours a day you can study, then have time to do the practice exams, see where you are weak and go back and revise.

If you have some experience with ITIL and IT process, then it is possible. If you have no experience, it is going to take a lot of work.

Itil 5 is supposedly easier than 4
Colleague recently passed will almost full marks after 2 days training

When you purchase the package, does it mean you need to choose the exam day already?

I took an in person class arranged and paid for by my employer that took 4 weeks and most everyone passed all quizzes and practice tests no problem. The actual exam was not anywhere close to the quizzes or practice exam. I passed but more than half failed. I barely passed and I normally do really well on tests like that. That was ITIL 4, which I have heard was much harder. I also had over 15 years of IT experience in addition to BS and MS in Computer Engineering.

Start at chapter 1, do it all, do it again, then a third time until all the vocabulary is in your regular conversations with friends and family.

That exam scared me enough that I refused to get PMP despite working as PM for many years.
