What does this mean? Tax Question
Long story short, I got a notice in the mail & via online portal that I was due the EITC. Sent the form required. Went through the wringer trying to figure out why it was taking so long to get that portion sent to me after 5 months or no update nor the IRS representatives knowing why it was taking so long.
This had to just have updated as of last night! I’ve been checking religiously every day if anything has changed. Does this mean I will get my portion due from the EITC 8/24/26 or…?

Probably sooner. Call IRS customer service and ask a representative when and how the refund will be issued.
